Best ribs ever! We got the sampler plate, so we got to try the chicken, sliced brisket, sausage, some ribs, and a little chopped beef with jambalaya and beans on the side. All was delicious but those ribs!!! Yum!! Now I'll tell you, don't be alarmed when you pull up, it's an old, old, old place with LOTS of history but they sure know what they are doing! He's been there for 35 years and still going strong. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!
The barbecue is fantastic! Don't let the exterior appearance fool you, the atmosphere is wonderful the two brothers that own the restaurant and cook the bbq are great people to talk with.
Awesome spot with 34yrs in the business. Delicious food and not far off the highway. If you're in the area looking for some authentic Louisiana comfort food, look no further than Shank Cats BBQ! Well worth the visit!
