The food is AWESOME! the people are down home friendly, you feel as if you've known them all your life. The atmosphere is easy and laid back. I highly recommend you stop in and tell Bo Bo hello!
I mean... does it compare to Texas Q? Absolutely not. Is it better than the big guys in Shreveport? Absolutely. The ribs are WAYYYY overcooked and need a lot more seasoning. The brisket needs more pepper. The bark on the brisket is nigh non-existent.
The sides though? Best jambalaya I've had at a BBQ joint. Not even close. The mac, however, needs Jesus and a lot more cheddar cheese, though the noodles are great, and the texture of the cream cheese is refreshing.

Good side of the road BARBQUE . It's a family affair , I think 2nd and 3rd generation is running the place. Quaint inside dining.
