Went at 6 this morning right after they opened. The ladies were very sweet and every item I bought was just about $1.75 - $2.00. They don’t have a menu with prices but if you ask the ladies they don’t mind telling you! Enjoyed my treats thank you.
This lil bakery is a GEM along West Main st in Golden Meadow,La. Cookies n Pastries, Bread is the Same as i remember, since early 1970s for me. I just Happen to pass tbinking they were closed, but Lucky still open, 1 hr till closed--in LUCK...The young salesgirl was so well mannered n helpful explain all the ? i had about items...To my surprise i asked about Grand Isle Cookies, if they were still made since they originally came from Dufrene's Bakery, just down the Road--closed...read full review

I love your Lemon Turnovers, and Y'all's chocolate brownies, with the sugared bottoms?!! Reminds me when I was a teen walkin to the "Old Dufrenes Bakery, from G.MJ.H.S.?!! THANX, for y'all awesome service, and products!! Jus (1) complaint, wish Y'all stayed open till 6:00 p.m. LOL ? THANX, a Bunch?!!
