My coworker took me here for lunch. So glad he did. The staff was wonderful and it was a good little lunch spot. They had a menu but I chose off the daily lunch special. Baked chicken. It was all very good I finished it. The only thing would be limited seating during lunch even though it seemed enough for the time I came. There was a good line of people and alot of them picked up and left.
The AC seemed to be having issues so they had portable units and they look to be in for some time now but it's OK at least they are trying. It was a bit warm in there but bearable. They have can drinks or fountain.

This is the only soul food establishment in Ascension Parish (Louisiana), to my knowledge. The food is great, especially the lasagna, and the customer service is awesome. I definitely recommend that you check this place out if you’re looking for a home cooked meal.
