I come here about once a month for lunch and always receive poor customer service from the ladies taking our orders, just not nice at all. Today we went and three of us had sandwiches on sourdough bread, the sourdough bread has fuzz on it. We were told that this was from the kitchen employees wiping the cutting boards with kitchen rags… and I know from working in a resturaunt that kitchen rags are not very sanitary. We were then offered credits for our meals today, mine was $24, but told they could not do a refund. I denied the credit because I don’t think I’ll be returning.

Small portions lacking flavor, as a petite person, I ate 3 of the wraps in a row (chicken csaesar, shrimp, and club respectively) for lunch in order to be full after eating a large breakfast at home of an entire chicken breast, carrots, mushrooms, potatoes and asparagus. I'd be worried that I'm pregnant or something eating so much but I'm not lol. Increased protein and veggie content as portions increased would help customers' satiety immensely. It's convenient however note not paying for a full lunch, more so snack.

Came with my brother for dinner and enjoyed this place. Was helped out by Taylor who went above and beyond with service. Quick and fast service with fresh hot and tasty food!

This has to be THE WORST eggplant parmesan I’ve ever eaten in my life. And I’ve had it all over the world. The breading is absolutely horrid. Is super dry with a sour flavor. So bad I had to spit it out. Eggplant itself isn’t seasoned. The spaghetti sauce isn’t very good either. Large chunks of crunchy onion. This item needs to be removed or updated asap from the menu before more people order and this restaurant starts to take a hit from bad reviews on this awful item on their menu.

Ordering food at the register was a little odd and quite difficult with 6 people. The place has a varied menu. My grandsons each found something they liked. The dishes were cooked perfectly, but sadly, I found them bland.

We had such an amazing experience at John Michael’s Good Eats. I brought all my grandkids to lunch today and everyone enjoyed their meal. They have great portions and almost too many options but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu it seems. We all had left overs to take home. The girl at the counter was very nice. She answered all of our questions with ease. When she saw we were finished eating she asked us if we wanted boxes and cleared some things off the table for us. Overall 10/10 experience and we will definitely be back.

If possible to do zero stars, we would. We ordered a pick-up order, arrived 30 minutes later & walked into an empty restaurant and were completely ignored for a solid five minutes. Kennedy at the host stand had her back turned and did not acknowledge us at all upon walking in. All we ordered were 2 wraps and the order wasn’t ready for an additional 20 minutes. We used to come here ALL the time, and extremely disappointed in this level of service.

Flavie was a tremendous bar tender during our trip to old Montreal. I recommend anybody to go pub john Michael’s for a good time during their trip. Good food, drinks and amazing service.

Mr. John, while you were friendly and helpful, upon walking into your establishment for the first time, we were greeted with very curt attitude and dry explanation to how your restaurant operates by your employee. I asked for a drink menu and was told there was none, but was directed to look at the selection on the shelf. Your beer taps were not in use, which is unfortunate because we checked reviews and photos before we came and I was looking forward to having that. I settled for some wine after you helped me see that you had some Sutter Home in the fridge.
My shrimp pasta seemed like it was cooked two days ago and had been microwaved when I ordered it. The bill was also confusing as it did not match how your pricing is listed on your menu. I do appreciate you taking the time to explain it to me. I hope this honest feedback is helpful as we had really wanted your restaurant to match our expectations.

Delicious food in a super clean cafe. Order at counter. Great salads, Italian offerings are as good as anywhere. Well thought out menu has great variety with something for everybody. Often busy but service is good.

This is my husband‘s absolute favorite restaurant and honestly it’s one of mine however, today we were deeply disappointed in the customer service. The food was so on point and absolutely fantastic but any special request we made seemed like we were trying to put out the people that worked there even small request like please Can. I have mayo. They asked if they want to charge me for it. Could we have onions with that we’re not sure if we need to charge you for that we had a sandwich that we asked about 1/2 being dressed the other half not being dressed, that was impossible. Honestly, we think this is one of the best places to eat however, customer service it really needs improving. We would recommend this place however we hope to see a change in the attitude of the staff.
