The chicken on my chicken shawarma plate was not chicken shawarma. It tasted like roasted chicken. There was no seasoning on it at all. A feta salad should not come with a dressing. It’s literally feta cheese on a salad with some vinaigrette. Was not a fan. Service was good though.
Great food!
Our go to for Greek. Always fresh and so yummie. Great service everytime!
I’ve been to other locations and they are not the same. I don’t know what they do differently but man is it good! I have to get my fix at least once per week.
Delicious gyros. Not crowded. Plenty of parking.
Awesome food and staff!!
Lamb stew was not good, the water was mixed with rice and it tasted bad, lamb should put in oven and with rice would have been good. Other things good. And toilet is not clean.
The best Lebanese food from Cali to new jersey, outside of home cooked food, traditional authentic and flavorful. Definitely will be stopping by more to try the rest of the menu when I’m trucking through New Orleans again.
I come here pretty often to eat lunch, the food is very good. The service is always fast and friendly. Today there was a mistake with my order And they solved the problem quickly with no issues. I’ll definitely be back to my go to Greek restaurant.
Albashas is on my weekly rotation! My favorite is the beef kabobs entree....always cooked perfectly!

I’ve ordered the salmon at Albasha in Baton Rouge and Covington and it has been excellent. I ordered it in Gonzales and, strangely, it came covered in mushrooms. There is no mention of mushrooms on the Broiled Salmon on the menu, but that is how it came. It was also under seasoned and WAY overcooked. It seems like attention to detail is lacking at this location. I will stick to Baton Rouge and Covington locations in the future and avoid Albasha Gonzales.
I've been coming here for years and this is hands down by far the best and my favorite location. They give nice portions of food and it's Always Fresh!!! I Love the vegetarian plate, lamb, and all the seafood dishes. All the sweets are good, but I Love the Ashta. The tea with the pine nuts is my drink of choice. I have always gotten good service here also. Highest recommendation possible!!!
Nice spot! Food was delicious, service was quick, only should update their google - not serving alcohol.
Not so much on service but the food and location atmosphere was good. Service wasnt very freindly and didnt come to check on me at all. But all else is good.
