The food can be hit or miss, but usually good. I typically get the chicken and cheese poboy. When it's good, it's good, but it's inconsistent. When the chicken is minced/chopped with the onions and all of the condiments are added, it's delicious. The seafood potato is also good, but the portion doesn't warrant the price. Absolutely love this places food and the new renovations they have done. Only complaint i have is with the kitchen. It took an hour exactly to receive a BLT with sweet potato fries and one pizza, by the time we got our food we just boxed it and left and ate at home. I hope by my next visit they get more efficient and quicker.

My wife and l have been eating at the Gonzales restaurant. We dine in and do take out. We’ve been patron for 18 years and Brew-Bacher’s is our favorite Restaurant. We are patiently waiting the remodel so we can continue enjoying their food. Thank you Brew-Bacher’s Please open soon!

Great selections at good prices. Ice cold beer and big portions on food.It's basically self service when your food comes but sometimes I like to leave the staff a small tip anyway. However when the person taking my order answers the phone and makes me repeat my order, they don't deserve anything extra. I can't tolerate rudeness. Granted, it's not the norm there but it does happen.

Had lunch with former coworkers yesterday. We were a party of 6. You order at the counter and give your name and your name is called when your order is ready. We ordered 2 hamburger steak specials, which is a 10oz patty covered with grilled onions and au jus plus mashed potatoes and gravy with green beans and 2 buttered French bread slices. Another peer ordered a warm turkey and cheese wrap fully dressed with ranch dressing add avocados plus a side of thin crispy onion rings. Another peer ordered a jalapeño burger with pepper jack cheese plus a side of French fries. The final member ordered a French dip roast beef po boy with au jus and an additional dipping sauce with a side of French fries. The favorites of the visit were as follows: the special was tasty, filling and we left clean plates. The turkey and cheese wrap was delicious and filling according to my peer and she took half home. She said the second half was just as tasty cold at home. All in all we enjoyed the casual atmosphere, fair prices, and food we all enjoyed. I look forward to a return visit.

Excellent food always! Cold enough to be serving the crab artichoke soup and seafood Gumbo. ? the crab artichoke has lots of artichoke and crabmeat in a cream base. My personal favorite. That with a salad and the garlic bread makes a filling meal. Their fried catfish platter is an excellent meal with French fries or a stuffed potato with salad. Huge stuffed potato and enough fish for 2 meals. Staff is always friendly. They are busiest at lunch. Each day is a different special. The bread pudding with rum sauce is the dessert I enjoy most. 1 serving is enough for 3 to 4 people.Wheelchair accessibility: Lots of handicapped places, nice rampant wide places between tables.
