My husband and I were craving snowballs so we tried this place for the first time. When I arrived there, they had a drive thru only sign up because they were short staffed which I understand in this economy. Although the line was 8 cars long, we were willing to wait and obviously it was a clear indication that they are pretty popular in town.The young lady that took our order was sweet and the price for our snowballs was very reasonable. Once we got home to try them, I really liked the flavors and so did my husband. Our only issue was the ice was VERY HARD. At one point I was using my spoon like an ice pick, chipping away ice while I ate it then I soon realized it was a huge chunk of unshaven ice. That was a bit annoying and definitely negatively impacted our overall experience. I don’t know if they need to update their ice machine or the workers were moving too fast in their preparation of them but it was difficult to eat despite the great flavor.

I always come here to get a snowball with my little family but after today, I will not be coming back. I'm fully aware of the business hours which say they close at 9pm. When I arrived there were 3 cars ahead of me and it was 8:55 which I was already in line. The employee came to my car and told me that they were actually closed and that they had to serve the ppl that were in line infront of me because they were already in line, which was extremely rude! The part that really got me was when I got home I called the store which it was then after 9 and they STILL answered the phone which means they were still there! Clearly my money is too good for them and they served who they wanted to serve so I will not be back! I work in customer service and I do not treat my customers like that! How you close at 9pm but stopped me at 8:55 with cars still in line! Never again!

One of the best snowballs I've had recently!!! I ordered strawberry/wedding cake with custard and condensed milk!! It was so juicy and flavorful!! I will be returning!!!

The absolute best sno-ball I’ve ever eaten. Plush they gave my dog a child’s cup so that he had a treat too.Very friendly, and that custard is delicious!If you’re hungry , or have the munchies this is the place.Cade whipped up a stuffed wedding cake Smi-ball and poured condensed milk on top.Delicious, friendly, and all around positive experience.

I came to leave a review on behalf of my 8 year old son. He went in with his dad for an after school treat while I went in the mail shop next door. Once they finished, dad came out and stated that our son was ready to go, but to ask him why. My son then explained that the girls who worked there did not greet the black customers coming in but did the white. Nor did they speak to him and his dad. This is something he told to his dad, but my husband said he didn’t notice it. My son told him okay watch…the next customers that came in were not acknowledged once walking in. They were black. My son told his dad that he was ready to leave out of there at that moment. It’s very sad that an eight year old would notice such blatant behavior by individuals who work in a public setting. It’s absolutely fine to have your preference of who to like/respect or not, but if your doors are open to the public who are willing to spend their money with you, a simple hello wouldn’t hurt.

Every time i come here i wait in line for 30-45 minutes just for them to say the card machine is down, ice machine is down, no custard, etc. It is always something and the workers are too young to know how to properly run the drive through line smoothly and quickly.
Oh my Lord, I love their malts, however this visit was horrible. The girl had a very big attitude when I complained about the malt being runny. Her reply, “it’s got milk in it” very rudely. Attitude got worse throughout the exchange. Happens that she is the daughter of the owner. She called him and he apologized for her behavior, however she did not seem to care at all.That’s a damn shame that a local business has rude workers. Makes me want to take the trip to Baton Rouge for a chain custard place. I wound up getting a refund, which she tried to short me on! Horrible!

It's been a good while since I've visited Cade's, to the point that I forgot what my favorites on the menu were entirely. One of the employees, "Kaylee," saw me struggling to decide and offered to recommend me some "beginner orders" to consider. I went with the chocolate malt, which she had ready for me much quicker than I'm accustomed to at other establishments. The malt was perfect for a sweltering afternoon, especially coupled with the wonderful service. I'll certainly be back for more.
