Chef John Folse has been on my radar since the Lafitte Landing days. His recipes have inspired me, and I watch his "Stirring It Up" show on WAFB every Tuesday and Thursday! My wife and I love to cook (I mostly love to eat!) and Chef Folse seems to know exactly what we love to eat.

I had the great honor of meeting Chef John Folse at a Garden & Gun event at The Gasparilla Inn & Beach Club in Florida. The man has a fantastic personality and is full of energy. Loved learning how to make 4 of his recipes (all Delish!) and lots of cooking techniques. Looking forward to visiting his restaurants and White Oak Plantation. Keep on "Stirrin' It Up" Chef!

The only problem is deciding on a dish. I just have to keep going back. How lucky are we to have such a talented chef near us. Chef Folse did a yearly Moonlight and Jazz fundraiser for St. Michael high school. Word got out. The number of parents doubled each year.
