Go ahead and try and find a better shrimp fried rice-- and good luck! Is it "pretty?" Nah. But man can they cook behind that plexiglass lol (it had been put up at the pandemic and it just hasn't left). The kung pao chicken is delish also.

“BEWARE”!!!!Ordered 3 Fried Chicken and shrimp fried rice plates and the fried chicken was HORRIBLE!!! The smell was wrong and the taste was a mixture of a chemical or soap taste. Absolutely horrible. I was passing through Gonzales and picked up to take home in north Baton Rouge otherwise I’d taken it ALL BACK. The fried chicken was NOT EDIBLE! I ordered egg rolls which was okay and the sesame chicken and fried rice plate which was ok as well. But for $49 and HORRIBLY FRIED CHICKEN NEVER AGAIN! They should take fried chicken off menu because clearly they weren’t taught how to cook it!

I ask the lady do they have general Tso shrimp and she said yes. I'm a pescatarian so I don't eat meat. I said ok great I wold like a combo. I get home and what they gave me was general Toso chicken with plain rice with egg in it. I returned the next day with all of the food and ask for a refund. I paid $10.84 plus a tip, and she hands me only $10 back. I would never come back to order from here again. How does one get a refund and not get all the money they spent back? This is very unprofessional.

You should not be guilt tripped if you do not like the food. Ive been eating at this place for years and normally get their shrimp fried rice. However, tonight I decided to try something new. I've been craving fried seafood lately and noticed fried shrimp on their menu. The menu didn't have any pictures so I assumed it would be fried like any other shrimp in the area. Incorrect. The breading was VERY thick and bland (pictured below). I immediately asked the cashier about their refund policy. He went back and forth with me on why I didn't like the shrimp before offering to make a different shrimp that he assured would be similar to what I described to him (pictured below). He brings out a different varient of shrimp, I tried it. The shrimp was fried too long and still contained too much flavorless breading. I kindly let him know I didn't like it either and would like to just get the original refund I was asking for. The lady from the kitchen area aggressively comes to the front frustratedly talking to the man about the situation. She then turns to me and asks if I've ever had shrimp before and then starts telling me how I'm wasting too much of her food. The man then attempts to hand me 75% of what I paid. I told them to keep the money and just left. I've seen these workers almost every time I've been to the business. Sadly, not even the regulars are treated well here. Side note: All of the first shrimp was returned uneaten before receiving the second varient. All but the one I tried of the second batch was returned before the tantrum.

Good price. Egg drop soup was rotten. Fried rice was plain with just eggs, so disappointing. Egg rolls and general tso chicken was good. Beef lo mein was okay, really no flavor.

Use to be the best Chinese food in the area. The last 2 times have been horrible. Food smells like burnt grease, the Rangoons taste like they stuffed it with Krab sald. I am so disappointed this has been my go to since they opened. I guess we need to find a new place.

I am relocating to the area and had a taste for Chinese food, so I came here. I almost turned around and left because this place is net very welcoming. I ordered garlic chicken with fried rice. I don't understand the plexiglass and boxes because we are not in the hood in Chicago. The tables we shoved against the wall, which isn't practical to dine in. When I opened my container, it had white rice. The garlic chicken was good, but It wasn't worth the trouble to switch for fried rice. When we go out to eat, we prefer to deal with someone who is somewhat friendly and the plexiglass is ridicules. I probably will not be back.
