The food overall was very good. I didn't love everything but I don't fault the restaurant since the food was well made, it was simply a 'not my preference' thing.

Where do I began. The Gumbo tasted like it came out of a container box. And you'll didn't put that much water in it. Terrible taste! And it had look like fish?? I don't know. The drink had no alcohol and it separated from the water and whatever else was in it! You need more people in the kitchen. You guys need someone to supervise your food before giving to customers. Horrible!

On our way back to Texas after a weekend in New Orleans we stopped at Don’s Seafood for lunch and couldn’t have had a better experience. Everything was perfect. Every employee we encountered was very friendly. Our server, Beth, was undoubtedly the best. She was super personable but genuine. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and her recommendations were spot on. The food was amazing. Truly the best Seafood we have ever had. Everything tasted so fresh and came out quickly. The icing one the cake, I have Celiacs Disease and there were several options to choose from. Cannot wait to have a reason to go back to Louisiana to stop at Don’s again.

I am disappointed to learn Dons removed the sweet potato casserole from the menu. A suggestion, remove the awful sweet potato fries and put it back on the menu please. I always order this side. I always order one to go as well. I was livid to find out someone from corporate made this mistake. It was a horrible decision. Please fix this ASAP!

I enjoyed the broiled stuffed shrimp. My husband didn't care for the fried catfish but he really enjoyed the chicken and sausage gumbo & fried shrimp. The cheesecake is amazing. Our waitress Sophie was absolutely fantastic!

I’m excited about Don’s (Gonzales) new menu, there’s several items of interest that will definitely make me return. The ladies responsible for seating is always so polite and professional. My sever (Breanna D.) was very knowledgeable of the new menu.
