I am here to write an updated review. The food quality has gotten better. I stopped eating at Izzos 3 years ago because their hard rice every time. The food was OK.
But I have them another chance and the food quality has gotten better.
My only complaint is the lack of personality of the servers. Knowing people who has extremely hard jobs ( not rolling a bullrito job), they act like they are about to go into a chemical plant for a 14 hour shift on a extremely hot day. You are rolling a Bullrito. You are a food server, not a construction worker. Speak up. Geeeez.

Dear izzo's day crew as a customer who frequents your establishment I should not be able to tell that members of staff are uneducated in the food yall serve, untrained in customer service, and undeniably bigoted. To not only have a child argue with me about the menu after he admitted he doesn't know what hes talking about, but to then be purposefully miss gendered twice after out of spite is so unprofessional. Im not trans but to know that an employee would treat a paying costumer out of spite like that makes me sick. I just hope management is better than that.

They are VERY stingy with their portions sizes and charge extra when you want a little more. its not even worth the amount they charge. The one in gonzales is definitely better.

Not worth any stars! Horrible service, horrible food, $10 child's plate. You can tell, this company gives, no training to thier employees. Never again. Never again. HORRIBLE Not even loaded up.

Size does matter. They used to serve generous portions for a decent price. Now with increased prices they measure each meat and topping with a small measuring scoop and charge extra for many toppings. The workers don’t care at all. Just not really good anymore. And the entire dining area smelled like dirty mop water.

Normally I’m not one to write a negative review, bc I get it we can’t be perfect all the time, HOWEVER this location has to do better. This is the 3rd and last time they have messed up something with my order. Today I told the little fella don’t forget the queso, and I get home no Queso. I drive 20 mins, one way, to get the food so if I remind you 3 times, I’m not expecting to have to check my bags. They are all very kind however, they need to pay attention more. Again this is the 3rd time.

Some of the food doesn’t look fresh, every time I order a burrito none knows how to wrap a burrito. They just roll it up and smush the aluminum foil in my burrito to close it up. If I wanted a bowl, I would of ordered a bowl, but the whole point of the burrito is the convenience.

The portions on the burrito in a bowl are ridiculously measly. One scoop of rice and chicken for almost $10? No thanks.

Service and food is great but portions are horrible. They give u very tiny portions of the rice and toppings (especially the veggie ones) and even if u ask for a side of guacamole they don’t even fill in to the top.

Had the best spinach wrapped quesadilla ever! The steak is cooked perfectly at Izzo's Illegal Burritos, and there are gluten-free options available as well. The location was not terribly busy. The food was fresh and was rather clean. It is definitely worth a stop. Be sure to come hungry! Would love to have an Izzo's Illegal Burritos location in Gainesville, FL (hint hint 😉).

My kids love this place.

The burritos were half the size as per the wall size.
