Worst experience ever at this Jimmy a John location in Gonzales. Order my sandwich through drive through today around 12:18 noon today (owner:…review your surveillance camera for accuracy) and I was told I could not pay Apple Pay because they may drop my phone if I hand it over to be scanned.I was like you got to be kidding. I just came here Saturday and had no issue with them taking Apple Pay through the drive through! I was highly disappointed at the lack of empathy and lack of professionalism. I had to leave because I didn’t have shoes on to go in and I only had a 30 minute lunch break. I was left without my meal just because she said “they may drop my phone if I pay Apple Pay and they don’t want to be responsible. I had to come inside to pay. How crazy that sounds. If you won’t take Apple Pay by drive thru please put a sign out so we all know In advance. You won’t be in business long with this process for sure! Unbelievable Bad Service!!

I really enjoy Jimmy John’s sandwiches. The food is always fresh, consistent, and top-tier. However, I’ve noticed an issue with the drive-through payment process. Sometimes employees allow Apple Pay at the window, and other times they don’t. It would be helpful if the store posted a clear sign stating whether Apple Pay is accepted in the drive-through, so customers know what to expect before ordering. The main reason for using the drive-through is convenience, and it feels unfair when the policy seems to change depending on who’s working. I hope this can be addressed so the experience stays as great as the food.

Changing my review. Came back had the same service, sandwich was wrong twice !! I came in because I had come to Jimmy John’s because I thought the service was would improve. A few occasions I came and they told me I had chips in the bag when they didn’t and left to find out they didn’t so had to go back but would quickly fix it. Today I went in two get sandwiches for me and my coworkers. The person taking the order asked if I wanted cheese on one sandwich which I said “no” oh wait actually yes please and he rolled his eyes at me because he had to go back and type on cheese, I told him no tomatoes on my sandwich and when I left it had tomatoes so had to come back and they remade my sandwhich, I didn’t check it before I left my mistake. I drove all the way back to my job and there was no lettuce cheese or mayo just meat this time. I drove all the way back and they remade it again but this time burnt my sandwhich because it had to be retoasted!! I wanted a refund dealing with everything but all the offered was a free sandwhich for next time. I didn’t take the coupon because I will never be back to this location.

I ordered lunch for my entire company, not only were they accommodating over the phone with assistance in payment and navigating menu options. When i went to pick it up Jake & His team went above and beyond to ensure our whole order was FRESH & HOT for the guys in the field. The quality of the bread was like fresh Po Boy bread. Everything was SO GOOD.., it was my first time trying Jimmi Johns & Will definitely visit this location again.

I had such a great experience with new management and the new owner. My mistake led to nothing but kindness and appreciation from the owner and I truly truly cannot express how great my experience was. The sandwich was so so fresh and delicious. I’m so happy Jimmy John’s is back in ascension parish and I’ll be sure to order often after this great experience. This is ultimately the best experience I have had from a Jimmy John’s ever.
