Good food, service
Beer is really cold, and food is good! street tacos are the jam and the flavor comes close to the ones I grew up eating in SoCal. also molcajete is whoa, full of flavor and a lot of FOOD! Bring your appetite.
We went to La Nueva Tequila for Cinco de Mayo, excited to try a new spot with great reviews. Unfortunately, our experience was far from what we expected.
When we arrived, there was no host—just a crowd of customers at the front waiting to pay, get on a list, or be seated. The wait was about 25 minutes, which we understood given the holiday crowd.
Once seated, we waited another 25 minutes with no greeting or drinks. Eventually, someone dropped off chips and salsa, but they were cold, stale, and the salsa tasted like canned tomatoes with no flavor. It was a rough start.
After nearly 30 minutes, no one had acknowledged us. Servers kept walking by and clearly saw we hadn’t been helped, yet no one stopped. A kind customer sitting nearby noticed how long we had been waiting and actually went to get someone for us—embarrassing on the restaurant’s part.
When our server finally arrived, it still took about 15 more minutes to get my frozen margarita, which I didn’t enjoy. I politely asked to switch it for one on the rocks, and she told me I’d have to be charged for a second drink—after all that waiting? Ridiculous. I just kept the original drink.
Another 35 minutes passed, and we still hadn’t received our food. At that point, we gave up and got up to leave. We went to the host stand to try to at least pay for the drink, but the owner tried to charge us for the food we never received, the drink I didn’t like, and the non-existent service.
We came in excited for a fun celebration but left disappointed and hungry. We won’t be back—ever.
Ordered lunch for work, it was pretty bad. Usually get the beef fajitas, hard to mess that up, the beef wasn't flank or skirt, it was like tough chewy gravy steak or something, not much flavor. I'm glad my company paid for it, and not me.
Our favorite weekly Mexican spot! Amazing food and service!
Great food, super nice all smiles servers. Enjoyed the house margaritas, carnittas quesadillas, side of guacamole, 4 enchiladas and a regular ground meat hard taco. Everything was spot on delishous. Sunday is funday and there was a discount on our margaritas. Great deal!

We had an amazing dinner! The chimichangas were incredible and the drinks were top-notch (the Gin and Tonic was a highlight!). The vegetarian options were also super tasty. Friendly owners, too! We'll definitely be back! 10/10 would recommend.
Great fajitas. Margaritas looked pretty good also.
Had a great experience coming here for lunch. Their birria tacos were very tasty and extremely well filled. The service was very friendly and checked on your refills of drink and salsa frequently.
My husband and I were in the area working and wanted Mexican so we googled and found this place with good reviews. It did not disappoint! Food was delicious! My husband had the steak and shrimp fajitas and couldn’t finish it. I had the tacos birrias and was full after just 2. We also decided on dessert, churros and cheesecake were amazing! Geraldo was so kind and attentive and Carol was also very friendly! Loved it. We will be back if we’re ever in the area again! Thank you!
Solid tacos, great prices.
