So 20 years ago, this place made the best roast beef Poboy with the gravy. I returned to this town for a visit and decided I wanted another one of those. I was very disappointed to say the least. Food is fresh including the bread, I lean toward the poboy and have yet to be disappointed. I have also had salads from them and fried rice from time to time, both are very good. It’s a one ‘man’ show at the register which can be a little slow when they are busy as she also handles the phone in orders, refills…so don’t be in a rush. I stopped here for lunch today and ordered the Fried Chicken Strip Po'boy. Po'boy comes fully dressed with tomato, mayo, and pickles. You have the option to omit the ingredients to your liking. Bread was ok. Chicken strips were juicy and had flavor. I really enjoy it! They also have Chinese food such as egg rolls and fried rice. I usually come here for the sandwich though. Perhaps on the next visit, I'll try something different.
