We haven’t ordered from Outback in quite some time. I’m not sure why we stopped. We ordered online and picked up our food to go. Y’all, the steak, baked potato and broccoli were DELICIOUS! Don’t sleep on Outback in Gonzales!

The onion mum was over cooked almost to the point of burnt. They were definitely short servers, but our server tried very hard to stay on top of all her tables.

We use to go there all the time but lately the service and food quality has gone down. We like sitting at the bar but on our November 13, 2025 at 6:30pm. The bar was full of dirty dishes from previous service. The restaurant needs a good cleaning every thing seems greasy and has moldy odor like something is wrong with the HVAC system. The reason why we like the bar is because we get fast service. We wait no bread, and waiting to put in our food order, after about 5 minutes waiting for our drinks which didn’t arrive until we got up and we decided to leave the restaurant. Yall need to do better! We went to Don’s Seafood to get the steaks we were craving

It was good. Not amazing. The manager on duty was amazing though. He kept checking in and making sure we didn't need anything. We ordered a bone in ribeye and it had no bone and he was so kind about it. The bartender (which was our server) could've been better but you kinda expect a different level out of a bartender.

This will probably be my last time at Outbacks. I usually go to Texas Roadhouse but this time we were too far away and really hungry. We had not been to Outback in a really long time because of food issues but we decided to give it another try since it was a different location. We went in around 3:00 and they only had 2 other tables so we were served quickly and the service was great. The options on the menu have alway been a bit limited but I got the 18oz bone in ribeye because they only have a 13 oz. My steak was cooked pretty close to how I wanted it and it really wasn't anything to complain about or send it back however it was really overloaded on the seasoning and I have serious doubt this steak was 18 oz before cooking. I got mashed potatoes that were barely warm, bland, and a small serving. My wife got the steak and shrimp and found the shrimp to be a little tuff but edible, the steak was cooked as she wanted it but again the seasoning was heavy. We also got an appetizer of mozzarella sticks which were overcooked and cold because we waited quite a while for them, I think they just forgot to call them in to the server for pick up. Overall the service was good but food was nothing special.
