Why does Popeyes lock their doors before closing at 7:00 pm

This location was so rude and empty. I love Popeyes but this is my first time at this location. We walked in, we were not greeted or even looked at. We waited for a hot minute and we tried to grab the lady in the fronts attention. She barely turned around to say I’ll be with you in a minute. We were the only ones inside the place and there was maybe 2 cars in drive thru. We ended up leaving and as we walked away she greeted the person who just went up to the counter for her order. Very disappointed and disrespectful.

Not a good experience all the way around. Went through the drive- thru during what should have been the lunch rush and that should have been my first clue. Not only did it seem like the wings were premade because they were cold and rubbery but they also barely had any sauce to coat them. They were also “out” of tenders. The associate took almost 5 minutes to give me change- seemingly unable to calculate the amount. Once he finally handed me the food, he expected me to move and I had to ask for the drinks I had ordered. One of my drinks wasn’t even correct- My sweet tea had very little ice when I asked for extra ice. This location needs to raise their standards quickly!

Sent my friend to pick up my mobile order. Was rude about it and said we already picked up the other. Definitely making it seem like we was trying to get over on then. I went up there after and was told we'll o know you picked up the order because it was made fresh for you. Never received the fold because I set the order for 7 and it was already after 8. Refuse to wait about 20-30 mins when they gave my food to somebody else.

The crew that was working Tuesday 7-22-25 was great! They accommodated a huge order at the last minute and completed it super fast! 50 pieces and sides. Great job team!

Disappointed by Poor Service and Ongoing Issues

I normally don’t leave reviews, but after my experience at this Popeyes location, I felt it was necessary. The quality of food, lack of service, and disregard for customer satisfaction were extremely disappointing.

The lobby was closed well before the posted hours, and staff were only allowing mobile orders — even though the restaurant appeared to be open. There was no signage or explanation, and I wasn’t the only customer confused or frustrated. Others around me shared the same concerns.

After checking the online reviews, I noticed I’m not alone. Many people have reported the same problems repeatedly — from poor customer service to inconsistent food quality and early closures. What’s frustrating is that the owner reads and responds to these reviews, promising change, but nothing ever actually improves. What’s worse, the food didn't meet my expectations was so bad that I didn’t even eat the food I purchased.

At this point, it feels like lip service rather than real accountability. I hope this review helps others know what to expect, and I sincerely hope management finally takes meaningful steps to fix these issues.

If the owner is not going to get a new manager and employees shut the place down this the worst Popeyes ever. Ever time you have to wait in the parking lot for food. One time they gave me spoiled lemonade I was sick for a week and the people working the window be having funky ahh attitudes

Went tonight at 9:20 pm and the door was locked, dining area is supposed to be open till 10 pm and drive through until 11 pm as it says on the hours of operating on the door.

Corporate should pay more to their employees maybe they will show up to work, can't believe always only 2 or 3 employees lobby closed drive through busy, people with big trucks can't go through drive through so they left hungry.

These are some of the riders damn people . Rolling their eyes at us through the drive through because they couldn’t get our order right. Y’all suck. We won’t be back.
