Love Salt and Light Asian Cuisine! Been coming here for years and the food and service is consistent and great quality, for dine in and takeout. Unbeatable price for healthy, filling lunch specials available until 3/3:30pm. The owner is the sweetest woman of God and I love seeing our local students employed in the customer service industry. There is Christian artwork on all of the walls and they play worship music. Love putting my money here!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I placed a Togo order online from my mom’s house in prairieville, took 20 minutes to drive there. Placed the order at 5:19 and got the food at 6:07 (I know the exact time from when I got my receipt to when I left, I called my mom) for 4 appetizers. I patiently waited at the front with a smile on my face and was super nice to the staff. I understand that it’s not their fault why food takes too long. Drove back to prairieville and when we opened the boxes 2 out of 4 were wrong. I called and told the girl and she immediately said no, I bagged it myself I need proof, come here and show me. Like WTF?? I said no I’m not driving I will take a picture and text you. She admitted she made a mistake after I had to prove it to her on one and said the other one was right. I ordered online. I don’t know if their system messed up or hey maybe I did press the wrong button BUT no one confirmed my order at the restaurant and why would you fight til no end over 10 dollars!?!?!! And also I was basically called a liar beforehand. They said they called the owners and they said I couldn’t get what I wanted or a refund for that. Then the girl was like do you really want me to pay out of pocket, I’m in highschool?!?! I mean, are the owners asking the staff to pay out of pocket for mistakes????? OMG. Then they called me and said since it was an online order I can’t get any refund at all even on the mistake order unless I drive back to the store. At this point I’m already back home in Baton Rouge. I used to manage restaurants for a living, this was the most ridiculous Togo order experience I have ever had. What restaurant leaves young high schoolers in charge at a restaurant without a manager or an owner? How is it that the staff isn’t taught correct customer service??? I am completely dumbfounded about this whole experience.

Awful experience. My wife picked up food and 2 orders were wrong. Girls accused us of lying and demanded pictures of the order. Then said they wouldn't help out at all. Managers didn't want to help out at all. Didn't confirm order, waited 50 mins for food ans they were slow. Don't ever go here. I don't post a bad review unless it is well deserved. Worst customer service of all time. Got angry when she was told she was wrong and then proved she was wrong and still acted awful. Get new help or learn to train your employees to be polite and show respect. All we wanted was a credit for the meals that were messed up. Not going to waste another 1.5 hours to go back and get my meal replaced.

So the wife and I went on here tonight because she had heard that this place served pad Thai. From the beginning we should have known something was wrong at 8pm on a Saturday we were the only ones there. Ordered and appetizer of chicken and vegetable tempura which was out pretty quickly but was lacking in any flavor at all and was full of powdery chunks where the batter had not been mixed thoroughly. Then on to the clear soup which it was exactly as it said clear but also had no flavor and a few uncooked scallions and a mushroom slice in a beautifully chipped plastic bowl. So finally out comes the entree which mine came out 10 minutes before my wife's the hibachi fried rice and beef it was fried rice but had nothing in it maybe some leftover egg from something else they cooked earlier and some unseasoned meat that was some cut of beef. Then came the pad Thai it was a huge serving but none of it was good the chicken in the pad Thai had the texture of a precooked fajita chicken from a bag in the cold section of the grocery store and the sauce and flavor was off not like any pad Thai I had ever had or my wife had tried either. All around the tea was good the food was lacking in flavor and texture and the price for what was served was way more than it should have been.

Had a ladies lunch here today. Food was great and service was great. Very good place for a church gathering. Forgot to take a photo when I first received my plate, but there was plenty of food on a plate to bring home.
