I really wanted to like Vicious Biscuit, but wow… this place missed the mark hard. The concept sounds fun, but the execution is a mess. We visited over the weekend. The biscuits were dense and not cooked well enough. The toppings were overhyped and under-seasoned, and nothing tasted cohesive — just a pile of random flavors thrown together. For a place that centers its entire identity around biscuits, you’d expect them to be, you know… good. Service didn’t help the experience either. Staff seemed overwhelmed and indifferent, and the wait time was way longer than it should’ve been for mediocre food. By the time the plates came out, the food was barely warm. And for the price? Absolutely not worth it. You’re paying premium brunch prices for something that tastes like it came from a rushed kitchen with no quality control. Overall, Vicious Biscuit is all gimmick and no substance. Cool name, disappointing food. Definitely won’t be back.

Wait times at this place are ridiculous even when it’s not busy. I came in on a slow day took them 10 minutes to make me 2 orange juices. Taking orders in the middle of making my stuff these people can’t multi task to save their lives. Owner runs his mouth all day he is oblivious.

Delicious food, a bit pricey but definitely worth the hype. Bought shrimp n grits, the biscuit was so soft and buttery, the shrimp was nice and blackened with seasoning and the grits were nice and cheesy. Definitely am going to have to come back!

Perfect breakfast spot. Although the line was long , we were helped and served quickly. Don’t let the line deter you! Everything was delicious and would have been worth a longer wait. We got the Huevos Rancheros and Sully Squad. We will be back again!! Can’t wait to try one of the many options available.

Being celiac, there are just some southern comforts I miss… and biscuits are at the very top of that list. The VB gluten-free menu is truly a dream come true! And the fact that my family can enjoy their own delicious, non-GF options too? Perfection.
Today’s customer service was absolutely 5-Star, from Sophia all the way to the general manager. Thank you for the full belly, the warm hospitality, and making my birthday feel extra special. 💙 Biscuits + joy = the best day! PS would LOVE a franchise in Metairie!

Dined 12/6/25: I will whole heartedly say that Alex is truly a fantastic example of what a manager should be. He was kind, attentive, and consistently checking in on everyone who walked through the door. Better yet, the staff gave off the same type of energy. They seemed genuinely happy to be there and provided excellent customer service to those who dined there. The food and coffee was also very good, however the service alone is what I would come back for!! Please give them a shotout for all their hard work and dedication!
