I love a good dive bar but this place is gross. The toilets will not flush in any of the bathrooms men or women’s, and it was over flowing. The management and owner don’t seem to care that their toilets don’t flush. The bartender who is making drinks, was having to plunge the toilets over and over again throughout her shift. That’s just plain disgusting!
We drove in for the bonfires. The bartender was great. Very friendly and great at her job. Made us feel welcome. There was a guy at the end of the bar that said he was the manager, but just sat there. The bartender kept disappearing to plunge the toilet because it was overflowing. I asked “the manager” if he could help her out. He said, just wait, she will be back in a moment. When she got back, she told him I don’t know what else to do. I can’t get it to flush. He shrugged, kept sitting there, and did not care. I made a comment “I hope the owner calls a plumber”. They both said this is not a new problem. “It’s an old building”. I over heard the call to the owner and the owner said “plug it harder, get a man to do it if you can’t.”
Sorry but I do not want a bartender who is making my drinks fixing toilets at the same time. My husband and I will not be back.
