They've managed to get everything right at this beautiful bakery/Cafe
From the moment you walk in the door past the gorgeous French chandelier, you know you've come to the right place. It has lovely French inspired decor coupled with divine pastries. Our meal was delicious and well presented and the staff were very pleasant and attentive. Kudos to them. It's a great place to meet a friend for lunch. We'll be back for sure.

My sister accidentally dropped her pastry while walking downstairs and the gentleman working behind the counter graciously gave her another pastry at no charge. We were so appreciative! We love it here. It's always so welcoming, and the atmosphere always makes me forget I'm in Louisiana... You MUST visit this bakery!!!

decent prices for very good desserts. i appreciate the time they take to make sure each one is presented nicely. there's a coca cola fountain, which made my day.
be aware that while there is seating on the lower level, you need to go up stairs to order. i asked staff if the back entrance had a ramp by any chance and was told no. historic building, i get it, but disappointing.

Good atmosphere for that mid-day caffeine break👌
Very cute aesthetic bakery right next to the Gretna Farmers Market. They make great coffee, beautiful and absolutely tasty desserts. Would recommend if you ever come to Gretna

The belle of the cafe ball in Old Gretna.
It's an experience getting a coffee, pastry or light meal. I drive across town for it.

I love Amore. The coffee, the gelato, the baked goods.. you really can't go wrong here. Everything is delicious. I am personally a big fan of their cookies, especially the triple chocolate. I wish they had longer hours, but it's probably better for my waistline that they don't.
Hidden little gem, amazing bakery you should try it

I can't say enough of good things about this place. I gives Parisian vibes and so cute and warm. My favorites are the grilled peach salad, buffalo chicken sandwich, artichoke soup, and banana pudding.

Just a unique dessert shop that was such a homey stop. It was a perfect way to end a night of fun.
We got the cannoli, crème brulee, and ice cream. Everything was wonderful but the crème brulee was above them all. It was a light and creamy custard with the perfect sugar layer.
Highly recommend this for any time of the day stop and possibly more than once a day.
