I purchased a red and white cake, I had the lady write Happy Birthday for a male. She brought the cake out with the name and HBD in pink! She was like that's all she had, I told her she should have asked and the cake was for a male, hence the name!

I ordered a cream cheese king cake for a Mardi Gras themed family reunion after searching high and low to find one out of season. Ive had Antoine's before and it is so good, so I ordered one for $75 to be shipped. When I tell you I was sent a box of absolute mush after it baked in a cardboard box for two days in a UPS truck. They sent me, via two day shipping (cream cheese isnt supposed to sit out for more than 2 hours)... a non-frozen, non freezer packed king cake in a cake box. Nothing more. It was literally all mush in the 97 degree southern heat wave we've been having. The cream cheese smelled rancid and had curdled. The plastic bag it was in completely shrunk in the heat and suctioned through the cake to the bottom of the box and it is absolutely not edible at this point. I hate to give a bad review, but what were you thinking? If the site had said anything about how it was shipped completely not prepared for its journey, I would've never ordered.
Still a fan when ive had it fresh, just bummed by what I received.

Fantastic beignets - better than Café Du Monde, no kidding! McDonald’s across the street - get coffee there, beignets and petit fours at Antoine’s. Folks super nice!!!!!

When I first had Antoine's 2 years ago they were outstanding! They gradually got worst. Today, I don't know what happened. They were oily, dark and flat... just trash. Horrible. I'll wait another 2 years before returning.

The king cakes are approved by my family. It was gone in 3 days. Usually it takes 8-10 days to go through a medium one. As soon as I cross the GNO bridge my mind is set on stopping at Antoine's.

Every year I come here to get a birthday cake it's a issue, the customer service is horrible the workers always seem to have a attitude on top of the fact that I placed a order two weeks ahead of my birthday which is on Christmas Day and they still tried to give me a whole different cake on Christmas Eve that I didn’t ask for or preorder. Then didn't want to fix the issue saying there decorators left for the day until I asked for a refund now all of a sudden they can fix the issue. The cake is still very ugly and a waste of $50 why take preorders if you can't fulfill the actual orders and your workers don't even respect the customers when there dead wrong on top of trying to go back and charge people more because your workers forgot to do that when the order is placed and not paying attention to anything people are saying just putting anything on the paper. Baby if I could give yall a 0 I would they don't even go over which each gold look like or nothing just try to sale you anything to get you out of there. Now I have a ugly ass cake that looks brownish orange trying to be passed as a “gold” for my birthday!

The beignets are always cooked to order and the are very good hot. My daughters suggested this place. They bring your order to the car. Everytime I am in New Orleans I will go by here.
