We ordered a cake for our 10-year college reunion, a big milestone, right? Well, apparently not big enough for Antoine’s to care. The writing on the cake looked sloppy and thin, and somehow “Class of 2015” turned into “Class of 2025.” A whole decade off.
When we pointed out the issue, instead of professionalism we were met with eye rolls and attitudes like we were the problem. They told us to bring it back the next day so they could “fix it”… cool!
Their idea of a fixing it😂 Peeling off 25 and sticking 15 on top. No blending. No effort. It looked worse than before.
When we asked for reasonable solutions, like rewriting on the cake, or exchanging the cake for another or simply issuing a refund, it was a firm NO across the board… with a side order of more attitude of course!

Stopped by after a cruise for some of the famous glazed beignets and we were not dissapointed! The bakery smelled so wonderful we ended up with pies, cannoli, cakes and muffins and EVERYTHING was amazing! Definitely recommend!

Had I known about this place earlier I would have gained 10 pounds. Coconut layer cake, German chocolate cake, petit fours, pound cake all moist and oh so sweet. Next time in New Orleans I will have the glazed beignets. The one thing they ship are king cakes. I'm looking forward to having some.
