From Texas, Visited for team dinner during a volleyball tournament weekend. We were all so excited to try. Place was busy but still accommodated our party of 25+. Food was great, must try the jalapeño poppers, service was great, everyone was friendly.
Call ahead if you want crawfish. I walked in along with other people, asked to be waited then they sold crawfish to the people who came in after without calling ahead. Legitimately forgot about the ones that came in first. It was quite a big group, and myself that got skipped out. I’ve been coming here for years, this makes me not want to come back anymore.

On my vacation to NOLA, this place was absolutely the best local food out of all the places we tried. Went back three times because it was just that good. We ate through a lot of the menu and didn’t find anything that wasn’t amazing. I would drive 16 hours again just for this restaurant.
I order one pound of crab take out. When I got home the crab was over cooked,they were like rubber The seasoning wasn't good.

We ordered our food and waited for our food and the young lady gave the largest part of our order away. WAITED for them to prepare it again and they didn't give us a pound of crawfish. We let them know and wouldn't you know, we had to wait for another 20 minutes AFTER waiting nearly an hour for my first order that was given away. I asked for my money back for the one pound of crawfish and left with what I had... I got all the way home and started to eat and realized my order WAS NOT WHAT I ORDERED.. BEING THAT I LIVE 35 MINUTES AWAY I JUST SUCKED IT UP ?AND CALLED IT A LOST.. AN EXPENSIVE LOST. THE MANAGER WAS NICE THOUGH..

I did not enjoy the crawfish, the young lady on the register did not ring me for the sauce on the crawfish. And the crawfish plain is bland. The corn and potatoes didn't have any seasoning and the potatoes were hard. We will not be back!!

This rating is just for the Gumbo. I do love their poboy sandwiches. Also, this might be a Plus, but their Gumbo that me and my mother tried this evening was extremely spicy. Was unable to eat it. I guess we just can't handle spicy. It was much more then just a little spicy though. It was extremely spicy, in our opinions. Plus, I thought that the meat looked awful, and it did not taste very good. I was unable to eat more then a few bites of it. Here is a picture of it, before I decided to throw the rest in the trash. It was just horrible. My mother was unable to eat much of hers either, and thought the same things that I thought about it.

The customer service was great but it took a while for my gumbo and seafood to come out. When I tried the seafood, I immediately wanted to dispose it. It was very unflavored and did not have a taste at all. I do not recommend the seafood unless you want water flavored food. When I asked them for a refund, they did not allow it.
