Having moved into the Gretna area for a job in Port Sulphur, it took some time to find a place serving Mexican food that was similar to what was back home in Houston. Service was usually very good. And when I was in a rush, I couldn't always count on their To Go Orders to be ready on time...
Good food, good service, and they recently got their liquor license sorted out for those who would like a cold drink.
I'd recommend this place to those coming in from out if town. You will notice a change in the taste of the food at other locations while this place taste more like home..

My go to place for authentic Spanish cuisine. Staff! staff! staff was super attentive. Went there 10min before closing. We were treated like 1st guests of the day. Food came out hot, plenty, and filling. Always a hit. Didn't have spirited beverages - not sure why. Will continue to visit when I'm on the West Bank.

The food was not good and the service was slow. The cheese on the nachos was mixed with water and the chicken on the nachos was cold. The top shelf margarita does not come with Grand Mariner. We won't ever return.

Food was highly flavorful. We sat outside and the atmosphere for me was comfortable. Our server was attentive and pleasant. She also waved us down after we had forgotten our leftovers. We'll definitely go back.

I was greeted promptly outside (for dining) and opted to sit at the bar. I was greeted promptly by the staff. I ordered and the food came out quickly and hot. The food is up to par and the presentation was nice.
