I BEEN HERE A COUPLE OF TIMES AND THE FOOD IS GOOD AND I HAD BETTER IS JUST THAT I WORK IN THIS AREA..I LOVE THE TURKEY NECKS AND POTATOES. WELL SEASONED BUT VERY MUCH OVER PRICED..TURKEY NECKS ARE NOT TENDER ENOUGH AND ALSO IF YOU WANT EXTRA NAPKINS THEY CHARGE YOU FOR THAT AFTER THEY ONLY GIVE YOU 2 NAPKINS WITH YOUR ORDER. THEY DO HAVE A RUDE EMPLOYEE THERE THE BLACK GUY SO THATS WHAT MADE ME STOP GOING FOR A WHILE.

While the crawfish is good sometimes, the customer service is horrible. I’ve been here multiple times. I’ve had some good experiences, but more negative encounters than good. I value customer service because your food can be mediocre, as many places in New Orleans’ food industry can be, but your customer service will keep you in business and will help to set you apart from other places. In addition, it’s not a good look to lie about whether or not you have fresh crawfish coming out. Almost everyone’s preference would be been to wait for fresh crawfish. After asking, I was told they were done boiling crawfish for the day at 2:15 pm, even they close at 7 pm. Of course after I asked this question and paid, the gentleman that boils the crawfish coincidentally asked his coworkers if they were ready for a new batch to be brought out and of course he was silenced right away.I encourage J&J Seafood to provide a better experience for customers. I personally won’t be back, but I do wish them well.

First time at J&J. Ordered boiled shrimp, Turkey necks, and potatoes. Crawfish are out of season so I didn’t want to bother with them being so small. Overall, everything was well seasoned. The Turkey necks were a bit spicy for me but tolerable. Service was great and very friendly. I’ll definitely go back to try the crawfish.
Good crawfish. Quick service. The shrimp were good but on the spicy side. Food had good flavor, especially the corn and potatoes. Would go again

Absolutely amazing seafood. I meannn, it was crazyyy. I'm from the Chesapeake Bay Area and used to a certain preparation of seafood. We asked the guys if we could get butter for our seafood and they laughed at us, "you don't need butter for this!" We were assured and they were absolutely right. Nothing was needed, it was perfect. I went home trying to replicate this seafood boil like 3 different times before I gave up realizing that they're just different at J&J.
