Booo, Joe's Cafe in Gretna on Belle Chasse Hwy 👎
I usually order from Joe's in Marrero and I love their buy one, get one free breakfast plate. Their portions are generous and their grilled biscuits are 👌 delicious.
I ordered from Gretna because they were the only ones open at the time and was so disappointed. The portions were so tiny, the hash browns weren't cooked all the way, and the grilled biscuit was hardly grilled.
If you have been turned off of Joe's because you've only had the Gretna one, give the one in marrero a try.

DO NOT EAT HERE!!!! Come home to notice the donuts were all moldy. Disgusting 🤮

The glazed beignets are SO good! 🤤 I ordered a dozen and half of that ead gone before I made it home. 😊

Forget about Cafe Dumond. This place has the best beignets in all of NOLA. And forget about powdered sugar. Get them glazed! They're made to order so you'll have to wait 5-10 minutes but its so worth it to get them freshly made and still hot! I'd say try their other fantastic donuts because they're also the best donuts you'll find in NOLA but its hard to focus on anything other than glazed beignets. Service was super friendly every time we visited and if I could talk the owner into opening a store in the washington DC area, I would, so I could have this treat any time the craving hit!

Overnight Cashier on Sunday ( Danaka ) was extremely nice and attentive.

Stopped by Joe’s Cafe & Donuts on Belle Chasse Hwy and had a solid experience overall. I ordered the Cheesey Joe Burger with sweet potato fries—really enjoyed the mix of cheeses on the burger, definitely something a little different. The fries were great, and the fried okra was perfectly crispy and seasoned just right.

I also grabbed several doughnuts. Unfortunately, they were out of a few, including the buttermilk and the donut drops—my wife’s favorites. That was a bit of a letdown. Thankfully, they still had the maple, which is my go-to.

One disappointment: I found out they’re removing the Hawaiian Joe Burger, even though it’s still on the menu. That one’s always been a favorite, so I was bummed to hear it’s going away. Guess I’ll have to try making it at home.

Service was friendly and fast, and the food quality is still top-notch. Just hoping they reconsider the menu change!

Never had a peanut butter jelly donut it was the bomb best donut ever had

2. Make sure you put everything in the bag when someone order from uber eats, yall ruin people whole ass morning when you can’t do the simplest of task.
3. Sanitation…that’s common sense

Waited 15 mins in drive thru to be told they were all out of glaze, choc covered and many more donuts!

Food was pretty good I had a hamburger and fries. The service was faster than I expected. The atmosphere is definitely family-oriented and very safe.
