Six people, had 1 meal followed by 3 more, 10 mins later, followed by last 2 5 after that. The last 2 were salads. One was a chicken ceasar that tasted like it was cooked in fish oil. Service serving absolutely sucked, people finished meals before some even received theirs. My opinion of this place hasn't changed since the last time I was here.
We are visiting New Orleans, took a trolley and asked our driver about a place to eat. She said eat here. What a marvelous experience!.. We had alligator poppers!10/10 Dom was awesome!
MAY23 ~ The restaurant was very clean, open, spacious, and well organized. There were different areas that could easily accommodate large groups, etc. Our waitress was excellent. She was well spoken/articulate, genuinely pleasant, intelligent/fast on the uptake, efficient, and professional. My food was the reason for the 3 stars. I had the seafood platter. The batter was too thick & tasteless and all the seafood was overcooked. I did not say anything at the time. Maybe I should have...
We stopped here to try out their food. This place is more of a fast food restaurant. You get in line and order. They give you a number and then bring you the food. We both got the shrimp sandwich and a side of gumbo. I did not like the gumbo. It didn’t have sausage and wasn’t spicy either. The sandwich was ok. A little dry. The people that work there are very friendly and attentive.
Didn’t have a car, so we walked from the Courtyard to this restaurant. We were NOT disappointed. I had thin fried catfish and it was good. It was a big portion. It came with two hush puppies, two pieces of bread, slaw and amazing garlic French fries. My mom had a perfectly cooked, juicy cheeseburger with awesome onion rings. Our waitress was very nice. They serve coke products. There is a full bar. If you are in this area, you won’t be disappointed.
We went here based on the recommendation of our hotel and the portions were huge. The menu consisted of mostly burgers and catfish, but there seemed to be something for everyone in our party. The food was good. Our one concern would be that the food arrived at different times (not just a few minutes apart of each other, but many minutes passed). The piece that surprised us slightly was that you ordered at a counter and they brought it to you (we expected more of a restaurant style service based on the outside). Also note that this is attached to the local mall.
This is a family friendly place. You place your order at the counter and then find a table. The grilled shrimp was blacken and tasty but spicer than usual. The talapia sandwich was blacken and very good. Lots of onion rings and fries were included in the meal. Restaurant isn't fancy. Concert floors and a few booths in the bar. Ok for quick meal but not much for elegant eating.
It was great food.. we both had the sea food platter. The charbroiled oysters are the bomb! Highly recommend
This is the second time I have eaten here and it was amazing again. Our family chose several different dishes and we were very happy with them all.
We usually get the Thin Catfish & we never went wrong on this, it's always good. I also like the Icecream afterwarths.

We stopped at the location in Oakwood Mall after a long day of driving. The interior of the restaurant looks like a chain restaurant but was bright and clean. We shared a shrimp and gumbo special, which also included wedge fries with a garlic sauce. These gumbo good, with a mildly spicy flavor. The generous serving of shrimp was prepared with a cornmeal crust and deep fried perfectly. The garlic fries were good, if a little on the greasy side due to the sauce. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. It took longer than expected to receive our food, but it was hot when we received it and tasted fresh.
We asked if their food was spicy, was disappointed at the no answer. We ordered hamburgers, to go, instead.
When I am in New Orleans, I usually go to a small Restaurant, that specializing in Cajun food. This time U was out of luck,as it closes on Monday, and Tuesdays, as the fishing boats do not go out on Sunday, and Monday. I looked around for another Restaurant, but unless I wanted to across to the French Quarter, the only one around was in the Mall next door to my Hotel. I was hesitant about trying seafood, that in a place that also serves hamburgers, and was located in a Mall, but I thought that I would give it a try. When I entered, I sat at the bar,and Alli, my server, was quick to supply me with a frosted goblet of Bud Light, and a menu. The menu was quite varied, and surprised me with the vast selection. Alli helped me with my selection of a platter of fried catfish, and shrimp. When it arrived, it could have fed two people. There was three pieces of thinly sliced catfish, battered, and fried, at least a dozen shrimp, two hush puppies, fresh coleslaw, two pieces of garlic bread, and potato wedges covered with a sauce. U knew that I would not finish it all,but I managed all the shrimp, half the catfish, one hush puppy, half the coleslaw, but none of the potatoes, even though all the food was delicious, and presented well. I was pleasantly surprised. Jerry...Paris...Ontario...Canada
