It is not often that I throw food away but I threw this $18 plate in the trash. I asked if the fish was catfish and was told that it was farm-raised catfish. What that means is that it is swai. It was half cooked and the rice was flavorless with frozen shrimp. A total disappointment

Best shrimp fried rice I've ever eaten. And I lived in South Korea for a year. Fish and kabobs are fabulous. Would be cool if they offered BBQ sauce.

When it comes to food and service Opelousas Chicken & Seafood is the establishment is the way to go.

The food is excellent, and they have a nice selection. The atmosphere is tranquil, and the service has a short wait time. I had the chicken and fish with shrimp on the side.

I have been eating from this place since they were originally on Opelousas St in Algiers, well the quality has declined. The chicken was old and rice was not hot, And I asked how long has everything been out, I would have waited for fresh. I'll never go there again, I don't have $24.00 to throw away and if you think that's nothing, ask them to let you go with $.24 cents.

They food is very good always hot and fresh.
