This is one amazing place!!! Mensy the owner of the bar and his awesome little dog Jax greats you with a smile!! There is no price gouging here and the people that go there are all great people. I've been here in town working since the beginning of May and my days here are coming to and end. From the very beginning they've welcomed me in and have done everything in their power to not only make me feel at home but an extended part of the family!! Both Sheila and Tina the bartenders and they are amazing too. They do serve food periodically. All home cooked delicious and they have never changed me. I HIGHLY recommend when in the area you should stop in and have a drink. They will make you feel like a part of the family. You will not regret your decision to stop in. Thank you Mensy, Clint, Sheila and Tina!!!

I LOVE this place ! It's a quInt little spot in Gretna.... Family owned and operated.... Been around for a long time and I don't see them going anywhere .... EVER ! LoLThere's video poker and a great jukebox and they are always cooking ! The people are great and they even have some unique alcohol surprises!!! Do yourself a favor and absolutely .....DEFINITELY go check it out !!!!!!

Plaisance's Bar is a true culinary gem. The food here is good. The drinks were equally impressive, with a knowledgeable bartender who was happy to recommend the perfect pairing. The atmosphere is chic and vibrant. Plaisance's Bar is a definite winner in my book
