Sakura sushi and hibachi

Amazing service, delicious rolls, I arrived close to closing and was met with kind faces. Though I was fully prepared to not be seated, they welcomed me and satisfied my hungry belly. The roll was much larger than expected, almost like a burrito. I was amazed at the great work in such little time. I loved the location as well, next to my gym and my favorite coffee shop. If anyone is on the fence, please decide to try it and hopefully, like me, love it. Thank you to the people who helped me out and made my night an enjoyable experience :)

Went for lunch. Quick service to accommodate lunch crowd. Very good sushi and love the dressing on the salad! Look forward to visiting again when in the area.

Sakura is a very good sushi place in Gretna! The staff there are amazing! Mik is so nice and friendly.(ps. A little loud as her personality but she is very nice and happy all the time)
The manager Jenny is also a very friendly sweet and kind person.
The rolls are amazing! I had the Tiger roll, Sakura roll, tornado roll(deep fried), and salmon sushi! Their fish is very fresh and delicious! I love this environment.
They also got hibachi for people don’t eat raw.
Super recommend for people who live in gretna! Go there and visit ! try them out!

My wife and I love sushi and hibachi. Everytime we visit a new place, we try to find the perfect place that can do both. Sakura IS IT!!! Hands down the best Sushi and Hibachi spot in the New Orleans area. The food is always super fresh and the servers are awesome. Do not leave without trying the Gyoza!

I went to Sakura this past Wednesday night and was scammed out of $20

It was not very busy when we placed our orders, however, it took over 20 minutes for our orders to come out. We noticed several other guests who came after us received their orders before us. Even after a mediocre meal with an even longer wait time, I still tipped our waitress 25%+! I left cash, $80 for a $63 bill, on the table and walked out after waiting too long for the waitress to take our card. As we were walking into the parking lot, our waitress chased us down, screaming at us. She said we were $20 short, which was absolutely not the case. My girlfriend and I both counted the amount of cash left on the bill, and it was enough for the bill and tip. I used to enjoy this restaurant but I am NEVER coming here again and I advise everyone else the same unless you want to be scammed out of your money.
