Great menu, well diversified with options for any tastebuds! Went back for their daily special, which was a lobster roll with a New Orleans twist, adding crawfish on a baguette, and it was absolutely delicious. Our server Tracy was awesome!

Food is always good; little strip mall gem on the Westbank. I am never disappointed.
I've been a customer since they opened more than 10 years ago. Food has been a consistent high quality and interesting since day one, never had an off meal. Also feel their prices have not risen at the pace of other options nearby and so Sun Ray has become relatively more approachable.

Went there for lunch on a Saturday with our 2 kids. Only 3 other customers there. Food was good! You can draw on the tables which was fun for the kids. Everything tasted like it was made in house. Bbq sauce, pickles, sauces... etc. So yummy. Will be back. Staff was nice!Kid-friendliness: Kids menu/colors. Can draw on tables.4 options. My son got the chicken strips and fries.

Nice little restaurant. Lots of parking, very quiet. We went for lunch and there was only about 3 other customers. The kids were able to draw on the table which was my favorite part to keep the kids busy. My son got a nice sized chicken strips kids meal I got a cheeseburger which was yummy! Homemade pickles!!! Hubby got poke bowl which his only complaint was they're seared the tuna. But it was still yummy. Will definitely be back! Staff was friendly too

My daughter had the kids chicken and mac. Very bland. My wife had the Thai chicken. Also dry. My $39 filet came out rare instead of medium, and it took 20 minutes to re-fire the same steak. I was able to eat after the entire table was finished. It's been 7 years because of a bad experience and it will be another 7 years. Also, the microwave was a main tool sitting next to the kitchen.

We had a great experience at Sun Ray Grill. The Sheephead Almondine and Sheephead in lemon Butter sauce were both excellent dishes my wife and I shared. The service is top notch. The atmosphere is pleasant, elegant, and unassuming. I recommend this restaurant as worthy of a trip across the Mississippi River for the East Bankers, as it is a treasured secret among West Bankers.

Upscale lunch spot for the west bank. But food is great. Service is quick and friendly. Lots of repeat customers here. The lunch tuna dish is awesome. But again so is their wraps and the burger and the salads. Cool spot for a business lunch

This place is consistently good. Get the fried portabella mushrooms.Update: not so consistently good. The nachos are not good. Also the menu has been changed or shortened. Not so many good items as they used to have. Also felt rushed to order.

Went for lunch- service was blah. We got a cheeseburger and Smokey burger with fries. Fries must've been cooked in oil that was not to temp because they were saturated with oil and limp/undercooked. Burger was okay, but very greasy (not in the good way) and bun was hard. It was my first/only time going, so I wouldn't recommend on this experience alone. FYI- two burgers, a coke and a water cost $38 plus tip.

We have only ordered food to-go from here, but it's always been fantastic. My favorite is the pecan crusted chicken salad. Super delicious. Orders are prepared accurately and quickly.

This was a small restaurant we use to like going to all of the time. The service experience was always great & the food amazing but we haven’t been around for about 2 years and today we decided to order take out since we were craving their food. The packaging in foam to go plates was very sloppy, the food doesn’t taste the same anymore & the ribs were so dry & so hard. Disappointing! It’s just not the same anymore. My family & I did not enjoy our meals enough to finish them. Maybe they changed staff?? We don’t know but we know that we have a change of mind for this spot going forward.
