I visited on a Wednesday afternoon. It was not busy; there was only one other customer. The a/c was out but I know that tends to happen in the summer so I waited outside. Employees were kind. I placed my to-go order at the counter. I ordered a steak quesadilla. My wait was not long. Food was just average/ nothing special; I could have just gone to Taco Bell. I did not taste any Sazon. It was bland. I will probably not return in the future.
Great food here they really nail the seasoning and the portions are generous. Lovely staff as well.
AMAZING food! Quaint and clean building with fantastic service.
Taco Daddy’s is more than a meal—it’s a moment. Tucked in the pulse of Gretna, it feels like walking into a family reunion you didn’t know you were invited to, where the welcome is warm, the food is sacred, and the margaritas work in mysterious ways.
From the first bite, you know this isn’t just Mexican food—it’s home cooking with swagger. The fajitas arrive still singing from the skillet, wrapped in that smoky, citrusy perfume that makes heads turn and hearts leap. Each bite is a celebration of flavor and fire.
And those margaritas? They don’t just refresh—they revive. Balanced like a tightrope walk, tart and bright enough to make your eyebrows rise and your heart race. You’ll order one for the flavor and stay for the epiphany.
The staff moves with the flow of a seasoned symphony—graceful, intuitive, always one beat ahead. They make you feel known, like your seat’s been saved and your drink’s already on the way.
Taco Daddy’s doesn’t just feed you. It welcomes you, surprises you, and sends you back into the New Orleans night with a belly full of joy and a soul marinated in lime and laughter.
One of my favorite places! Their margaritas are on point !!
First time here. Live in WB and searched for Mexican food. Wouldn't have found it otherwise. Ordered the Molcajete for 1. It was AMAZING!!! Great quality, flavorful and so much food. Service was also stellar. I normally don't write reviews but this small WB gem deserves it.
Excellent Food. Chile Relleno’s are excellent!!
Never disappoints. Really great food at a reasonable price, And friendly staff.
it was our first time going and we had a very good experience. we ordered the Molcajete for two and it was filled with lots of meat. The food was very good and had big portions. We walked out with a loaded to-go box after our meal. The staff was super friendly and got our food out very fast. I have had better Mexican food in California and Texas but for Louisiana this was definitely one of the better places to get Mexican food. We will be coming back to Taco Daddy's in the future!

I feel like it's very authentic. The food was good. Got taco daddy's and my boy got a quesadilla. We enjoyed it. We spent about 45 bucks including tip. The salt / pepper shakerswer3 cool old beer bottles. My servers name was Ever, did a great job walking me thru my first authenticmexican. . He answered all my questions and was quick. And friendly plus pretty cute. Definitely coming back.
