They handle large groups really well. The brunch food is fantastic. They have a bottomless mimosa and bloody mary bar that is self serve. The service is very friendly. Highly recommend for brunch will be back.

Pretty mediocre Vietnamese Food. There are far better places nearby that make everything better, and at much more reasonable prices too.
You're paying for the location in "historic old gretna," and maybe city officials and courts people are willing to accept mediocre, but I'm definitely not.

Very bland food, even down to the rice, and the atmosphere felt very boring, and a lack of identity. Very "wanna be modern" with no taste Vietnamese culture.

If anyone recommends this place, immediately turn around and drive 5 minutes across the expressway to one of the many other, better places.

Pad thai is excellent. Ask for spicy if you like that or mild if that's your preference. Other stuff is good too I just always have to order the pad thai so don't venture from that often. They had a great chicken satay. Sorry that's gone.

First time ordering from this place and it was bad. I ordered a clear soup and the worker forgot and guess what? To compensate they were going to give me my soup that I was suppose to get for “free”. Rice was bland, couldn’t finish it because the more you eat the more you wanna barf. It comes with a sweet and sour sauce but nasty how they also put it in the takeout box. The place was empty when I got there so it sucks that the food came out that way. Overall, money down the drain and never going back.

Alright, I drove here to eat Vietnamese food and was told they didn’t serve it when google will tell you verbatim “All-Day Vietnamese.” Brunch on a Sunday is sans viet cuisine and more of an elevated diner experience. I’ll come back when I can properly rate it, one star for location, one star for atmosphere. Food, service and cleanliness will be in the next one. Just left a little sad and hungry. ?‍↕️

Every so often my family likes to do dinner in old Gretna; it has a lot of charm. We were going for Vietnamese and chose Thanh Thanh. Cutting to the chase; the food was really good. Service was on point. A few things that were odd; I'm not saying bad; but from a brand marketing and customer loyalty perspective... odd. When you are seated; they ask what type of menu do you want; Vietnamese or Pizza? We could only guess that there is some sort of connection with the pizza place next door (Huey P's). We chose Vietnamese. Looking over the available options, they had all the staple Vietnamese options... but they also have Chinese (Beef & Broccoli), Korean Bar-BQ & Chicken Fingers. I've never been to a place which offer this much variety and I can see how one might this is good.. but the flip side is that by offering too many options, the result is that it makes the Vietnamese options 'feel' less authentic. The interior setting was nice but combined with the blaring 'pop country' music and Sharknado playing on the TV, it took the vibe down considerably and made the experience feel like a tacky tourist trap in the quarter. Not expected. This is one of those moments where a simple suggestion can go a long way... less is better! Find your niche. Perhaps the niche for this spot is catering to the jury duty crowd which I get, but perhaps by defining your niche; it may bring in more people; especially for dinner.

Parking: Lots of free street parking after 5PM.

Our experience was Ok. Not bad not good. Considering that there is Bananas blossom and other worthy competitors, Thanh Thanh has a lot of work to do. There is no kids menu. Although it seemed like a family oriented restaurant. Decent portions for a decent price. However $3 for hot green tea is a bit much id say. Food tasted well. Fried rice was quite bland and lacked spices, and had very few ingredients. The menu had conservative choices on the menu, which was not overwhelming. The restaurant was clean overall, but he had to ask for a new set of silverware, as the one we had at first wasn't clean. They do have great location though and the space for bigger companies.
