Brent was the best waiter ever! Food was exceptional, as always. I love this place. Perfect choice for our anniversary dinner!
Great food, great service, feels like family every time and Ms. Carroll is the absolute best host and makes everyone feel warm and welcomed.
My first experience but not for my date. We enjoyed a wonderful night; the service was exemplary and the steaks were prepared exactly as we wished! More visits are definitely in our future to this home town favorite!
What a wonderful experience. There is street parking and a lot across the street to park. They have a variety of seafood, but I got a steak and it was delicious. My son said it was the best seafood gumbo he's ever eaten. We really enjoyed the charcoal oysters as well. The drinks were delicious and our server was very kind and helpful.
My family and I had a wonderful experience. It's a beautiful restaurant, with a pleasant atmosphere and attentive and respectful staff. The birthday decoration board was beautiful; it made us very happy.
Lovely old-school Westbank staple with excellent service, very good food and cocktails for reasonable prices.
Nice family owned place in Gretna. Friendly professional staff. Clean comfortable dining space. Food was good. $15 cocktails. Bread and butter yummy.
Always great service and great food. Steaks are good as well as the rest of the menu items from salads to the grilled oysters. Also visit the upstairs. bar with a private dinning wine room.
We hosted a party of 12 to celebrate the finalization of me adoption my daughter. Everything was beautiful and the food was really good. Restaurant was super accommodating
Delicious food and great service as usual. There's a reason why we had our wedding reception here!

Our first visit here. We were very pleased with everything. Lots of parking, and It's very nice and clean, except for some sidewalks, pleasing decor, broad menu, and good service. We had a great appetizer and entrees. We will be coming back here again.
Red Maple is without doubt the best restaurant on the West Bank with respect to the entire dining experience. It's “almost” loud but the ambiance is warm and welcoming. Appetizers: We had the ravioli with pepper jack cheese inside and a crawfish sauce on top..fabulous. We had the Cajun eggrolls...fabulous. Last but not least the fried avocado topped with crabmeat and a crawfish sauce..better than fabulous! Entrees: I had the veal which was very good, the asparagus that came with it was great. The filet was delicious as was the fried chicken Alfredo. The entrees were all great but the appetizers may be second to none. Our server was a very nice guy and a good server. He probably should write down the specials rather than try to remember them because his uncertainty in trying to remember them and what was good about them was a bit distracting. Prices are in line with most very good restaurants in the city. The food was delivered in a very timely manner. No room for dessert but I have no doubt that they do a good job there too. I highly recommend the Red Maple for dinner or lunch.
It's my go to steakhouse on the West Bank. The owner is there, the service is friendly and the steak is juicy.
Our group of five had an excellent dinner here last night. The food and service were great!
Carroll is an amazing general manager who always makes sure each guest feels welcomed. The staff is pleasant and attentive. The food is excellent and consistent. We are fortunate to have this gem on the Westbank!
