Walked in after Bacchus at 8:30 pm on a Sunday, on google it states it closes at 9:30 so I took the drive from the city. I understand that the info might be wrong online, but the way the lady told me. I wanted to order and she said, we are closed don’t you see the lights off, just too rude. I think y’all should fix the info asap. I’m currently in the parking lot and a lot of people are walking in for the same reason.
West bankers, first of all, are different in their mentality and everything else when compared to New Orleans proper- which includes how they cook. This deli offers everything that the flagship store on Broad does but the quality of the service and the preparation of the food is completely different. The 'main lady' that be on the grill fixes food items the way she want them. Not what the customer asks for. Many times I have come there, not for myself but for other people I place the order to how I want it and because it is too much of an inconvenience to bring it back, they eat it dissatisfied. I don't think Rico know this. The manager of the West Bank store does. He not gone say nothing because it's not him doing the order or wanting it. The West Bank don't have many corner places like this and down here people think it's the same store(service, product) they gone to be upsetted. Janice in New Orleans don't understand why it's like this. She fries the Best fish in the cleanest oil. They don't do that on the West Bank. If you looking to grab and run. Fine. If you looking for the same taste, cooking, and service, you got the wrong gas station.
Its my go-to for a veggie plate when I an at work. Priced right for the portion size. What the food typically lacks is seasoning. I prefer for my veggies to be cooked a tad bit al dente and that is not their practice...lol. the mac is pretty consistent.
The cornbread though - always hits!
The staff is good people as well.
The Triangle on Broad and St. Bernard in New Orleans is much better than this one their food here always look dry and is tasteless
Food was good! Would give 5 stars bt the cabbage juice ws running all over everything else. Maybe put cabbage and other greens in separate container.
Received burned food and they hung up in my face when I called about it. They also charged us $52 for four small plates that are advertised at ($6.99 each) and a shrimp on bun advertised at ($6.99). The shrimp is salty and it tastes like it’s only seasoned with salt. The macaroni are overcooked and barely have cheese in them.
I love me some triangle in the 7 ward was happy they out this one closer to my house. I love their fish. I go every morning and get fish and grits even though they have the priciest breakfast in the city. Breakfast food is cheap and plates usually $3-7$ st other places. I pay $10 for their breakfast plate and they barley out grits on the plate. Like barely you eating and before you know it grits gone after a few bites. I just noticed they charge .35 cents for a piece of toast when most places toast comes with the breakfast ! Yea! Not going anymore. Y’all support theme I love triangle and the ladies during breakfast and the cashiers always soooo sweet and nice
My food was so nasty and old!! The lady had a nasty attitude and slap cold cheese on my grits! Bacon hard and old!! I’ll never go back!!
The food is mediocre and they don’t clean their shrimps. Nothing like the New Orleans location. Place would be a lot better if the cared for their food more
I did my research before we came we had hotel near by when I saw Triangle Deli. They were nice but not the same and Triangle in New Orleans at all .The food not the same smaller portions higher .This Triangle closed everything down early limited small options over priced. So I went to Triangle on broad Street a lot better .
Restaurantji Recommends

heavenly delightful food I definitely highly recommend that everyone should stop at least one time in their lifetime
We are visiting from Central Illinois and had looked up hidden gems on tiktok for New Orleans. Came across the deli and am SO glad we stopped.(The food didn't even make it to the hotel, we ate in the McDonald's parking lot behind the gas station) The food and staff were wonderful and we will definitely be going back before we head back North!
