⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Indian Cuisine
Absolutely delicious! The flavors were rich and authentic—especially the butter chicken and garlic naan. Great vegetarian options too. Warm, friendly service and cozy ambiance made it a perfect dining experience. Highly recommend!
Dropped by Turmeric Indian Cuisine on a Saturday evening and wow what a gem! The cozy spot wasnt packed and had a warm inviting vibe. The paneer tikka masala stole the show with its creamy perfectly spiced sauce. Every curry was bursting with flavor and the naan was perfect for soaking it all up. Even our kids devoured their plates! The biryani was tasty but needed more kick. Our waiter was so friendly making us feel right at home.
New Orleans folks if youre curious about Indian food think of it as Creole comfort with a bold spicy twist. Turmerics flavors will keep you coming back! Were already excited for our next visit.
The chicken tikka masala and the lamb korma were exceptional! Very tender and full of flavor. Service was very good, highly recommend this restaurant!
Went for the buffet on Sunday! Great price, great food got to try new things I wouldn’t have and loved it all!! 10/10 recommend
As a Navy veteran who’s had the chance to enjoy Indian cuisine from various parts of the world, I’ve developed a strong appreciation for authentic flavors—and Turmeric Indian Cuisine did not disappoint.
While out running errands, my family and I made a spontaneous stop for lunch just before the Manhattan intersection, near Best Buy. We ordered the Lamb Korma ($18.99), Chicken Tikka Masala ($17.99), two orders of Garlic Naan ($4.00 each), and a Mango Lassi ($5.00). The food was flavorful, well-prepared, and presented with care.
I asked for the Lamb Korma to be made extra spicy, and while they accommodated my request, I personally could’ve handled even more heat—but that’s just my palate. The lamb was tender and cooked to perfection, paired with well-prepared rice. The Chicken Tikka Masala was a hit with my kids—they noticed a bit of a kick, but nearly polished off the whole dish. The Garlic Naan was exactly what you’d hope for: warm, fluffy, and rich with flavor. The Mango Lassi was a refreshing touch, it's a popular order they have them ready in the fridge.
As someone with food allergies, I was impressed by the attentiveness of the staff. They took the time to walk me through the menu and helped ensure everything I ordered was safe, which goes a long way in preventing any medical issues.
The decor was pleasant and inviting. They’ve recently renovated a private room with a stage—while it’s not in full use yet, it hints at some great potential for future events or gatherings. The bar area was also nicely done. While the liquor selection wasn’t extensive, they carried all the essentials for a proper drink.
All in all, Turmeric offers a wonderful dining experience. There are still several Indian restaurants in the area I plan to try, but I’m glad we gave this one a shot. If you’re in the neighborhood, I highly recommend giving Turmeric a try—you won’t be disappointed.
This restaurant is the GOAT of Indian Cuisine! Staff is attentive and polite, the ambiance is perfect. The food is absolutely incredibile! We had several of the dishes, all were equally aromatic and flavorful. It’s definitely worth the trip to the westbank! A must try!
Incredibile flavors and spices. These Perfectly crafted dishes, at least the ones I’ve had so far are nothing less than perfect. Service is flawless, the vibe is equivilant to the food. It’s worth a trip to the westbank and its right off of the expressway. I will definitely be back to try more dishes!
