The experience was wonderful! I started off with cocktails, Stawberry Jalapeño Lemon, and it was delish! I had the crab cakes and cast iron redfish; my friends had the bone in pork loin, crab bisque, brisket bombs, spinach salad, and seafood potatoes. The food was absolutely delicious, and it did NOT miss on the FLAVORS!! For dessert, I had the white chocolate bread pudding..it was great. No complaints! Our server, Charlie, was wonderful and very hospitable as well! I will definitely be back!

This is a must visit if you are on a couples date or a birthday party. Came here after work to celebrate a co-workers birthday. I got the Brisket Bombs which were delicious to start our meal (sorry didn’t get a picture). For my dinner I got the Filet Mignon Stack, it came with a fried green tomato, crab cake, bacon wrapped shrimp, and some kind of creamed spinach. Needless to say this is one of the better I have had in a long time. I would definitely go back and order it again. I usually don’t like fried green tomatoes but I ate every piece of it. The bacon on the shrimp had a little char to it which just added a bit of flavor and the filet was cooked to a perfect medium temperature and had an excellent flavor. Buddies is a must try if you haven’t been.

Celebrating birthday and wanted to do something local. Just haven't been impressed with ‘the steak house' restaurant. Haven't been to buddies in a few years. Very concern after reading so many negative reviews. So glad I did not let that influence me. My filet was the most tender that I can recall from any restaurant! It looked small for a 8 oz but the tenderness was way more than expected. Husband had the ‘stack', he said it was good but next time would get filet. He said mine was better! I read comments on value and for this type grade of restaurant, of course, it's not cheap. No quality restaurant is! It's a higher end restaurant so of course it's not McDonald's price!!! It is compatible to any high end restaurant. It is expensive going out anywhere but for the price haven't had a better filet & a garlic sauce. Friday night and all the servers were also higher end. Get what you pay for.

Went here last night!!!!!!This food wasn't worth $128.00. Let's begin with the fees, supplemental fee?, food tax, another tax and charge for using you credit card. Ridiculous, moving on to the $18.00 for a small alcoholic beverage that was watered down. Horrible. The food arrives for $9.00 you got 4 little asparagus stocks unseasoned and plain nasty. The carbonara chicken which was basically tomato paste, angel hair noddles and two flat, hard cooked chicken breast that were not seasoned. The steak was ok and the Mac and cheese unseasoned and all the food was cold. Avoid this place at all cost. I should have taken that money and used it for gas to get to Saltgrass. HORRIBLE
