I'll start by saying I don't frivolously throw around 5 star reviews. I just use Yelp and take the advice of friends. Our friends are hosting a big event this October at Don's and we decided to check it out early since we were in town. So thankful we did! This place does seafood right! Service and food were great. All the food was delicious but My food came a little under cooked so I just asked for it be regrilled. They gave me a whole new plate of food even though u ate I ate my sides with the original plate. Our server was very nice and took care of my issue quickly. It was also my son’s birthday, they sang to him and he had an ice cream which really made his night. Had a bit of a wait as it was a Saturday night. Staff was nice. We were about to leave as we got tired of waiting, but the hostess put out some hushpuppies for those waiting and said our table was being cleared, so we stayed. The raw oysters were big and juicy. I also had Seafood gumbo. Not too much seafood in it but it was flavorful. Good experience overall.
