Better fare than what the Hi-Ho in Livingston offered. Not as good as BBQ in Baton Rouge, but probably the best for the price in Livingston Parish. Ice cold glass bottles of Barqs root beer hits the spot here.

I considered Hi Ho number one on the Roast Beef Po- Boys in Hammond. They changed their bread due to rising cost ( so days one of the servants). It's like getting a roast beef poboy on a hot dog bun. So disappointing !!! Want be back until they go back to the good bread. Service is always good Ambiance is always good

Unbelievably good pork and beef sandwiches. Messy as heck but delicious and they provide plenty of paper towels at the tables. Don’t expect any fine dining accoutrements or atmosphere here just good food. If you’re hungry this is the place to go. Free advice would be to not wear anything you are afraid to leave with a grease or sauce stain.

Love our local hi-ho! The service is always great and so is the food. It's our go to instead of a fast food restaurant. The roast beef poboy is off the chain!
I grew up in between the surrounding area and New Orleans... Hi-Ho is always a staple when I visit home! My son was born in NC, and has lived Hi-Ho sandwiches since I introduced them to him. We have been known to drive from Houston to Hammond/Ponchatoula to get a Hi-Ho BBQ pork with cheese (okay, maybe to visit family as well). But we have never left without getting some food from here! My son loves the Hi-Ho fries as well.This location is really great. Service is friendly. It isn't as spacious as the Ponchatoula location, but the food is just as good! I hope that this place is always around and never changes!
