Driving in Hammond and saw this place and looked very inviting. Made a U turn and stopped in. Lots of variety on the menu. I got a beef and a pork sandwich. Both were flavorful and super sloppy with lots of sauce. I heard the burgers were even better. Going to try one next time. I’ll definitely go back!
Worth a stop, oh and very reasonable prices!!

Better fare than what the Hi-Ho in Livingston offered. Not as good as BBQ in Baton Rouge, but probably the best for the price in Livingston Parish. Ice cold glass bottles of Barqs root beer hits the spot here.

Unbelievably good pork and beef sandwiches. Messy as heck but delicious and they provide plenty of paper towels at the tables. Don’t expect any fine dining accoutrements or atmosphere here just good food. If you’re hungry this is the place to go. Free advice would be to not wear anything you are afraid to leave with a grease or sauce stain.
