What a treasure of a lunch spot right in the middle of Hammond. Outstanding food, daily special and heartwarming atmosphere. It’s one of those places that makes you feel so comfortable while eating delicious home cooking.
Solid home cooked meal. But don't order the butter cups... are you will never want to leave... but do share them if you do... might as well have company if you don't plan to leave....
We stopped at Jeanie’s for breakfast on our way back to Texas from Florida. What a gem! The eggs were the best I’ve ever had. I don’t usually like hash browns because they’re so greasy, but Jeanie’s were fantastic. My kids loved their pancakes and my husband said his omelette was very fresh. Could not recommend this restaurant more. The people are so friendly and warm. I hope we get to stop here again in the future!
