Service was great. Did not have to wait on my order long. The only complaint I have is those dinner rolls is garbage. They were hard. The chicken was hot, fresh, & taste good.

Southern Classic Chicken in Hammond brings a hometown fix to the area. Customers say the chicken is hot, fresh, and good, with flavor that is hands down better than Canes. One of the greatest chicken spots in the state, it draws long drive-thru lines during its first week. The fries were too salty for one guest, and a coca cola came instead of sweet tea, but the chicken was on point as usual. Another complaint was hard dinner rolls. One order forgot the cole slaw, though the other had a good amount of fries. Service was great with a short wait, and one server got an order right when it was changed and added to.
