The pastrami here is unreal. Derek is awesome and knows what hes talking about with pastrami. It was neat to learn that yorkers tries their best to replicate Katzs deli. I feel so lucky that hammond has a restraunt that serves this quality of pastrami. I will defeninlty be back.
The sandwiches are absolutely delicious! A lot of the times I don't want anything heavy to eat and don't want to spend the extra on delivery services so I walk down from my place to Yorkers to get what I like. I'm glad that they are adding more options like drinks and other combo options but, I do just wish they wouldn't close so early or before their time. The best sandwiches in hammond hands down. These sandwiches are bursting with flavor and so so fresh. They can make them hot or cold and have a variety of meat to choose from. Make it your #1 stop for lunch! Also the honey mustard is to die for!
