First time eating at this place and I must say it was delicious. It’s different from what I’m used to back in Florida. Servers take you to a table and take your order. Here you order what you would like and choose your preferred table.
Being first time here, the young ladies in the front were very patient and helpful. Explained what comes with what and gives you there top favorites. Oh and some random guy said while he was heading out. Just close your eyes and put your finger anywhere on the menu bc everything is good here.
So, I did just that. The young ladies laughed. My finger landed on the: 3 eggs, white toast, grits and home fries. Cup of coffee to drink.
Huh. It was delicious, to me the grits is what made. Once finished I couldn’t leave with out getting a pancake.
Pancake was soft, not dry. It was good.
Came out so full I had to site in my car for a little. I might of bet did it but it was worth it.
So, if you’re looking for a great place to eat and great service. This is the spot for you. Will I come back? Of course.

Food was big portions when it comes to eggs but my hot sausage on brioche bun was great the hot sausage was leaving room for flavor that was desired in a HOT sausage, probably had a omelettes worth of eggs on the sandwich, staff was extremely nice you have to order it before you walk in to sit down menus were limited for lunch all I had was BLTs hamburgers and I can't remember the last one

Caffe Latte Da - Sunday Breakfast Review

I recently visited Caffe Latte Da with my family for a Sunday breakfast, and overall, it was a good experience with a few highs and lows.

What I loved:
- The breakfast portions are generous and satisfying.
- The sausage links were perfectly cooked and packed with flavor, while the crispy bacon was absolutely delicious.
- The hashbrowns were incredibly well-made, nicely seasoned, and a definite highlight of the meal.
- I ordered cheese grits, which required a bit of table-side seasoning (adding butter, salt, and pepper), but once fixed, they were enjoyable.

What I didn’t love:
- Unfortunately, the coffee didn’t hit the mark for me. I tried the Vietnamese coffee, which traditionally comes sweetened with condensed milk, but this version was far from it. The hazelnut vanilla coffee was okay, but nothing special.
- For a café that emphasizes coffee, I was expecting more in that department.

All in all, I’ll definitely be back for the breakfast, but I’ll skip the coffee next time.

Usually order from here but today my food was cold (club sandwich with fries). I picked it up during the recommended time and it was like it was made a previous day and stored. I was told they could only give me more fries and they couldn’t do anything about the sandwich. After hanging up I noticed the sandwich had hair on it. Will upload pics. That was a $20 waste!

Food is bland. Absolutely no seasoning to speak of. Coffee was weak. Guess I’m used good Cajun/creole flavors.

Caffe Latte Da! stands out as a delightful breakfast spot, boasting an impressive array of breakfast options and pastries. While the morning fare is exceptional, the true highlight for me is their Chicken Caesar Salad. The salad, topped with succulent chicken, is made unforgettable by their homemade dressing—a perfect blend of flavors that elevates this classic dish to new heights. The cozy ambiance and friendly service make Caffe Latte Da! not just a café but a community gathering spot. Whether you're starting your day or looking for a delicious lunch, this café offers a consistently satisfying experience.

Tried to eat today. Sunday. Listed hours have them closing at 1. Was denied service at 12:10. My wife and I work service industry jobs in Orleans parish, she and I agreed 50mins early is ridiculous. There is a reason why 90% of the customer base here is over 60. I really can’t condone someone going here when you can get better service and more CONSISTENT hours .5 miles away at Sunny Side Up.
