Excellent excellent service, super mega excellent cuisine, the flavor of the food, you couldn't ask for more. The best restaurant I've ever been to in Louisiana, the best, thank you for everything and I recommend it to any Latino who knows food, blessings......

My companion's food was very good, I ate mine but the mofongo was a little salty (I think it was due to the chicharrón). The employee who has served me several times is not rude but is 90% apathetic (indifferent in her treatment) with customers, the child who gave us the menu was sweeter, kinder and friendlier. The place is clean and I always find parking. THEY CHARGE YOU THE TIP AUTOMATICALLY ON THE RECEIPT EVEN IF IT IS NOT A LARGE GROUP. WE WERE ONLY TWO PEOPLE. THAT IS NOT CORRECT. THEY AUTOMATICALLY CHARGE YOU THE GRATUITY ON YOU RECEIPT WITHOUT ASKING YOU, WE WERE 2 PEOPLE.

The person who served us served us food and then sat down to be on his cell phone. I no longer ask if we wanted something else. Clear !!! He doesn't worry about serving customers because he already has his tip added to the ticket. When we left he didn't say goodbye or even thank us for the visit. I do not recommend it and we will not return to this place.

The food is excellent but they need to work more on the service and the quantity of the meat because as a customer I don't mind paying but as long as you agree with the portion, the rice and beans portion is fine but the chicken portion , fried meat and others this terrible 5 to 6 small PIECES.The food is excellent but they need to work more on the service and the amount of meat because as a customer I don't mind paying but as long as the portion agrees, the portion of rice and beans is fine but the portion of chicken, fried meat and others this lousy 5 to 6 little PIECES

Believe it or not, when you pull into the little shoppette, they're actually open. The tint on the windows makes it look closed down. It was a Thursday evening for this visit, and it was completely dead. The server was a bit pointed when I kept asking what things were, apologizing that I knew very little Spanish. This part kind of soured the experience.I ordered three orders of mofongo, tostones, and maduros frita Friday to go for the family. The wait was about 15-20min. The food itself looked pretty goodPrice was IMO a bit high at around $100 for what was ordered and received. Biggest word of advice when ordering is know they apparently automatically add 15% gratuity to every order, so don't get caught off guard. If you're looking for some decent ethnic food, give it a try. I won't frequent this location again, but it was a nice change of food culture to try out.

The breakfast was good. The way the restaurant looked not good. My wife and I aarived and the place has really dark tints on the windows(maybe to keep the sun out) but this will also keep the people out. Its set up as a small restaurant but a lounge as well, I think. It has a pull down screen, and dusty projector that was burry as can be (use the damn focus dial on the projector) I wanted to fix it for them but god forbid if I would have. The place feels like its still in renovation stage, walls fill with compound and the wood work around the windows is nice but not completely done. The VIP section (I think thats what that was) was dusty. The ambiance just needs to be fixed, please. The little older lady was so sweet and kind and because of her and the food she made us I am giving them a 3 star otherwise a one star for the place. That being said the food was damn amazing!!!!!! Its to bad.

I liked the Mofongo that I ordered it was soft and had flavor. The fried chicken was also good. I think the place just needs to tidy up a it more. But besides that everything cool.

One of the worst Service! just bad. I walked in and no one but a child sitting at the bar alone. I had to walk to the kitchen to get someone's attention. I ordered the mofongo with longaniza ( the mofongo was dry and it appears that they ran out of longaniza because I had 5 to 6 small overcooked pieces. The salad was full of water and no dressing on it or offered. We also ordered fried chicken & tostones. ( chicken es mostly bones).I asked for garlic sauce or ketchup something to dip my tostones and mofongo in ( there was not even salt and pepper on the table). The server came back with a weird yellow looking sauce ( I didn't feel comfortable trying it).The whole experience was Disappointed, I expected more.

I've been living in New Orleans now 4 years and although the food here in amazing, besides the occasional pop-ups, it's pretty hard to get good, authentic Latin Caribbean food the way grandma used to make it. Well, it's New Years day and I woke up completely hung over and had to work. I'd been eyeing this spot online for a while and knew that if anything would cure this hangover, it'd be some Dominican food. I drove over and its a small hole in the wall spot in a shopping plaza. I can tell it's probably jumping in the evenings (especially since it stays open super late). I was met with the grandmother who greeted me warmly and asked what I wanted to eat. "Tres Golpes (the three strikes)" I said. She sat me down and went back into the kitchen. He grandson came over and brought me a delicious Morir Sonando (orange juice with condenced milk). I could smell the mangu, sausage, fried cheese and eggs even before it came out and my mouth watered. It was unbelievably delicious! I ordered a sancocho to go for lunch and can't wait to eat it! I definitely recommend this spot to cure a hangover or if you're ever in the mood for some good homecooked Dominican food!

Let me tell you about this place I found this place looking for Hispanic food there's literally not a real representation of Hispanic food in nola other than Mexican food . But ok let's go this place it's hiding u can't see the name of the restaurant when u driving windows are extremely tinted, we walked in and there was only one server , there it's a bunch of items that they dont have on the menu we waited for about one hour in a half for our food we ordered churrasco wich it was not churrasco and we were charge for that it was expensive for no reason and the food was not it

I ordered peas and rice with fried chicken and this what I received. The chicken had no flavor, will not go back again. I guess that's why I was the only person in the the place
