They do not skimp on the portion size.
There’s a board that shows the daily specials. On Monday it showed Red beans and rice - and underneath it Raw & Chargrilled oysters. However, when we inquired about them as a special - we were told it just means they were offering oysters for the day; because sometimes they are out. That was misleading...

My mom told me about this restaurant. Mama knows best. Restaurant was fantastic. (Saturday afternoon about 1pm. No wait time.) Was only going to order the entrée and drinks. The waitress asked if we wanted an appetizer, we said not at this time (only because we could not decide on which one to get). The waitress suggested the voodoo rolls. She said you will not be disappointed. And we were not. Hot, fried, and oozing with cheese. The sauce was pure delight. We got the Catfish...
