Peewees Crabcakes Of Harvey

Customer service was on point. Servers welcome you like family. The atmosphere was jazzy and a vibe with the N.O. music. The food arrived quickly and was well seasoned. Will definitely be back.

I tried Peewee's last Wednesday and it was the best crabcake I think I've ever had in NOLA. I also met Peewee while I was there and I wish him all the success in the world. He's a positive, driven person and his food is excellent.

I drive a charter bus and i stumbled upon this little gem superbowl weekend. I got the superbowl buffet and it was amazing!! best food ive had so far in New Orleans, not to mention the employees are absolute sweethearts!! they were all so welcoming and they made me feel like I was eating with family!! 🥰 thanks guys for the amazing experience. you guys are the best! I will definitely be back ❤️

I was fooled today i ordered 2 seafood potatoes and a shrimp poboy it was ready in 10 min umm 1st the crab patty was old the potatoes was extremely to hard the fish was fishey I spent 75 dollars it's clear for me to say I will not be returning to this establishment nor the other ones

The only suggestion I have for this restaurant is to cut back on the salt. I ordered food twice and each time the food was entirely too salty. First it was the gumbo and then it was salmon.

I went in to give the gumbo a try after reading the MID review. Let me tell you this. They have the BEST gumbo on the Westbank. Very consistent with the flavor and tons of meat. I go at least 2/3 times a week now.

Love the Gentilly location. Went in this one to order same thing I always get and it tasted completely different. Jambalaya didn’t have any flavor. It needed salt but still edible but I didn’t enjoy eating it. shrimp was alright just basic shrimp.i know for a fact it was put in microwave. I know how fried shrimp tastes when it’s just fried . Way too soggy . I’ll bet my last dollar it was. Still the other location shrimp & jambalaya was a million times better. Now that crab cake ! Yikes. Time to change the recipe I only took two bites couldn’t do anymore. Wayyyyy wayyyyyyyyy to greesy and idk taste just was not giving. Just taste like wet fried bread. Without bread if that makes sense. I couldnt eat even swallow it. Just didn’t taste right to mushy, thin . Not cakey at all. I love supporting black businesses but the small very small amount for the price is insane. When I use to order this at the other location it use be like $15 or even cheaper now it’s $20. Definitely definitely can go to other places with $20 plate that could last the entire day. Won’t be back ever

Honestly hate doing low reviews, but peewees crabcakes of harvey left me disappointed. For the food lacked in flavor aswell as quality. We purchased rockerfler oysters, a crab cake, and a seafood platter that contained crab legs, lobster tails and shrimp. The quality of food did not taste fresh whatsoever, kinda tasted old or over cooked not really sure what was the deal. Nonetheless this place is not a go-to for me and my family.
