I did not stay at this place. I did order some lousy food for an outrageous price. It cost me $67 for some hush puppies, sick stuff to mushrooms with crab meat mostly breading, four crab cakes, and two sweet teas. And the waitress spilled sauce all over my phone and all over the floor around us and didn't even clean it up. So I would think the inn part of the restaurant will not be any better. Look at the pictures and that's what I paid $67 for plus I gave a $10 tip should not have even getting that since she was a sloppy waitress

OMG! Best crab cakes and hush puppies I have ever had. Service was great and place was super clean and an enjoyable experience.

We were traveling through and looking for authentic Cajun cuisine. Someone had been to Pats in the past and recommended it to us. I looked online at the menu and expected it to be pricey. I am ok with that so long as the quality is good. I was highly disappointed and the prices were even higher than the menu I looked at online. We traveled as a family of 5. Our bill was approximately $185 before the tip. 4 of us had water and adult meals with one appetizer and one dessert. My son had a kids meal with a sprite. His sprite came in a small cup and he was charged 3.65 for it. My regular sized bowl of gumbo was over $20. The waitress was not friendly whatsoever. We asked for dessert options and my husband ordered some cobbler. She asked if we wanted ice cream with the cobbler and he said yes. She didn’t inform us that the ice cream would be an additional $6 to go with our $10 cobbler. Portion size was extremely small which was fine because we couldn’t even eat it. My husband took one bite and said he didn’t like it. I am less picky so I took a bite and concurred as well. Food was extremely salty. When we looked at our high dollar ticket, the waitress had circled the recommended tip amounts and put a smiley face by the tip line. Tacky! When you leave an establishment where you have paid over $200, you should feel full and satisfied. We were neither. I would not recommend this place. Also, we were the only ones eating there. They blamed it on the rain/weather but I would beg to differ.

Our family has dined here for 15-20 years as a 5-star restaurant. Not so much now. The inside still looks the same since the tornado. The service was fair and slow. The food quality and quantity has really dropped. And they prices went way up - shrimp etoufee was $30 and each soft drink was $3.65. Just not worth it anymore I’m sorry to say.

The food here was great, the view was amazing, and the service was great!
When people out of state think of louisiana, this is the exact place they imagine.

The Inn is no longer there! Destroyed by a storm.
The restaurant is still in business with a 5 star rating!

Excellent crawfish etouffèe. Good red beans and rice. Good iced tea. Great service. Little off the beaten path, but worth the trip.

My sister in law and I ate at the restaurant on Saturday, Oct 26th. We will never waste our time eating there again. We got there around 3pm, and were seated fairly quickly with menus. That was the only thing done quickly. We sat for at least 20 to 30 minutes without anyone coming to take our order. The place was practically empty. A waitress passed our table several times, looked right at us, but never stopped. I finally had to go back out to the reception area and ask for someone to come take our order. They brought our drinks, but another long wait for someone to come take the food order. Once ordered, the food came pretty quickly, but was mediocre at best. We live in the Baton Rouge and Denham Springs areas, and have several superior seafood restaurants. 20 to 30 years ago it was a real treat to take the trip to Henderson for a great meal at Pat's. Not any more.

Can only comment on food. Being from Canada we saw a sign on interstate and love to eat of the beaten path and Pat’s did not disappoint. Great southern food and southern hospitality. If back in area, will definitely stop in.

I'll be honest it was a struggle to pick what to eat on their menu. So many options sounded amazing!!! 10/10 for the crab stuffed mushrooms! I loved the vibe of this restaurant and how happy everyone was. I was welcomed immediately when I arrived and I got the impression everyone there loves to work there. The view over the water was so peaceful. I can't wait to come back and try another item!

Awful experience. The poorest managed place that I’ve ever been to. I feel sorry for the people who work there. Management changes desperately needed. I’ll never be back.

Tried to stay having had so many wonderful reviews. Unfortunately the hotel was taken out by a tornado in mid May 2024. The restaurant is still in operation with seriously great food and service! I highly recommend eating at Pats Fosherman’s Wharf.
