Turtle's Bar & Grill serves delicious homemade burgers with homemade kettle chips. This charming spot offers a beautiful outside deck area where customers can enjoy their meals and stunning views of the Atchafalaya Basin. The friendly bartenders provide a welcoming atmosphere and are efficient, offering valuable insights on local activities, such as airboat rides. Guests can also enjoy fried pickles, gator bites, shrimp & oysters, and the famous Bushwacker drink. The cool levee bar and grill has a great vibe, making it a perfect location to watch the sunset over the marsh with a beer. The menu isn’t extensive, but this is by design, ensuring quality. The chef highly recommends the burger, which has been described as tasting homemade and hand-formed. It’s an authentic experience and one of the favorite spots in the region, ideal for stopping after a swamp tour or while kayaking the Atchafalaya.
