“We highly recommend Logan’s to any and everyone that travels near Marksville, LA. It’s a well run Family business and the BBQ is delicious. This establishment came highly recommended by a good friend and now I have to do the same. The wife and I both ordered the two meat plates with sides of potato salad, rice dressing , and the cowboy beans. The portions were large and the BBQ was grilled to perfection. If you come to or near Marksville and enjoy delicious food and very reasonable prices you must patronize Logan’s. It won’t hurt to let them know Big Chief Carl K sent you. ENJOY😋😋❤️❤️”

“We were traveling to Denham Springs, took a wrong turn, and somehow ended up in Bunkie — and I’m so glad we did! We stopped in at Poppa J’s and they have the yummiest donuts and the cutest little quarter rides for the kiddos. Definitely worth the detour. We’ll be stopping here again!”

“We have been here a few times now. We decided to use their drive thru on the way home. I felt like their load brisket baked potato but the young lady in the window said they just sold the last one. I checked the menu and chose the chicken fried steak sandwich with fries. It did not disappoint. I didn’t care for the mayo on it, so I asked for ranch. If you are going to be near Bunkie soon check them out, they will be worth it.”

“I’m not one who typically leaves reviews, but my wife and I could not stop talking about our experience at the Broken Wheel Brewery. By far the best thing we have ever eaten in our 25 years together. Crab Nachos, Steak, Fried Shrimp & Soft Shell Crab!
The atmosphere was awesome and the restaurant is beautiful. Megan was our waitress was so helpful and sweet she made us feel right at home. We will definitely be returning!”

“The largest fresh donuts I've ever seen in my life,... under $1!! Their cinnamon twist is large enough for a family to share,... no kidding! There breakfast croissants are also extremely large. The bacon, egg and cheese croissants are HUGE!! Count'em,.. eight straps of bacon, all for under $4. You can't beat their prices & quality. A diamond in the rough business for a town like Bunkie, so glad we stopped.”

“I had not been to Kyrles in 18 years, as the quality and gone down so much and the prices weren’t reasonable. However, last night, my wife and I went there for dinner and it was 100% across the board. Our server was great, the food was excellent and plentiful, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing (thumbs up on the remodel, btw).
I’d happily recommend Kyrles to anyone who asks, and look forward to returning soon.”

“Great service but non coffee items way overpriced. One cookie is $2.75!!! Fruit salad -- diced fruit with a garnished piece of cheap lettuce is almost $10. ??? I can get these items at the grocery for way cheaper and eat in the room. Paragon enjoys making people pay a premium for nothing. IDK about the coffee because I don't drink the stuff.”

“My coworker and I went in around 1:00 pm. No one was there as we walked in. The cashier was watching television. It was our first time eating since we live out this area the cashier was not very friendly. She appeared to be aggravated because I was taking a minute to look over the menu. I asked her what’s the difference between the ribeye po boy and Jake’s ribeye po boy and she told me the “it’s the same thing”. I should have left because it made me wonder why she was being so rude to the point we checked our food to see if something looked off. It was good food and many ppl kept telling us to try it I just don’t appreciate the cashiers attitude for whatever reason. I also saw they said portions are smaller. The ribeye did have a huge chunk of fat on one side but I felt it was a good deal and I got the 1/2 fried alligator which was good and decent as well.”
