Our family went here for evening dinner. Luis is our first time here. It appears to be a family-owned restaurant with very friendly service. That's very attentive. The all-you-can-eat catfish was clean-tasting and delicious. We really enjoyed the beans. My daughters could not get enough.The pickles were delicious. I really like this sweet pickles, which unlike most sweet or buttery pickles were actually really crispy. Thinking back, I regret not buying a jar of the counter on the way out. My steak was cooked perfect medium rare. Our server named Ella, did a fantastic job. We will definitely be back.

Won’t be returning. My family and I have been going to Port Au Prince over the years and has never had an issue. However our last experience was a bitter sweet one. The food was ok, when we tried to get a second order of fish it came rather slow, ok no problem, what I’m not happy with is the fact we never saw our ticket until it was time to pay, therefore we couldn’t verify charges, our waiter said he left ours up front with the cashier 🤔 so when we went to pay the bill, they hit us with 156$ bill and we couldn’t verify if it was correct so I have to ask what was the charges why others were waiting to check out (embarrassing) so turns out they added a $20+ gratuity to our bill which I was never able to confirm the exact amount 😒 he said they automatically charged 15% for a party of 6 which is fine, except our party of 6 included a 2 yr old baby in which they said they weren’t charging for. TIPS is….TO INSURE PROPER SERVICES, providing a ticket to our table would also be considered services. So I’ll respectfully pass on this place next time I want to take my family out.

The food was great and our waitress Emmie was amazing. The views of Lake Claiborne were an added bonus. I love the fact that there's not a big long menu to try and figure out. They do a few things and they do them well. On a scale of 1 to 100, I give them 100! I had the grilled ribeye steak, best restaurant steak since I can't remember when. They did it right.

We enjoyed a rainy day at the beautiful state park nearby and decided on this place for dinner. We showed up around 7pm on a Saturday and this place was hopping, but they seated the two of us quickly. First of all, their sweet pickles are INCREDIBLE. I’m not even much of a pickle guy, but they were like candy. We both got the fish and it was great. We also enjoyed all of the sides - the bean soup was a highlight. Service was also great. Fast and friendly.
This is a special place. I highly recommend you patronize this restaurant.
